This might sound a bit strange, so I better explain myself.
I've been quite interested in using Oversoul of Dusk and Deus of Calamity as part of a mono-green hybrid deck. My only problem is: what would be the best way to use both of these creatures?

hmm. Honestly, those are 2 that are pretty good by themselves. if you manage to boost deus a little he can be pretty mean (especially when combined with countryside crusher). But a deck built around them...hm. i would say make a choice. Which do you wanna use. I wouldnt suggest using both (as they are both more expencive). Depending on that you can go from there.

Ok. What about Oversoul and Eventide's Overbeing of Myth? If I brought together those two (with Deity of Scars, perhaps), what would be good cards to use them with?

If you really want to use a spirit avatar just run oversoul of dusk in Little Kid Green White. It's a pretty solid deck, and oversoul is an all-star. It's not worth trying to force 2 of them in a deck together.

Little Kid Green/White?
Oh, and btw, do you know of any triangle-spread hybrid decks? In other words, decks built on hybrid cards, but with a focus on one color.

little kid green white is exactly that. It's a simplistic, but competitive deck. sample list:
60 cards
9 Forest
4 Mosswort Bridge
9 Plains
2 Wooded Bastion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
24 lands
4 Cloudthresher
2 Elvish Hexhunter
4 Gaddock Teeg
4 Kitchen Finks
4 Safehold Elite
4 Wilt-Leaf Cavaliers
4 Wilt-Leaf Liege
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
26 creatures 3 Barkshell Blessing
3 Oblivion Ring
4 Shield of the Oversoul
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10 other spells
You pretty much just play guys and turn them sideways. Oversoul is often found SB as it's good against a lot of the format (elementals/faeries particularly)

I actually really like mono colored decks built around the hybrid cards. Especially blue/black (built around mono blue) and red/black (built around mono red). You get the advantages of the lieges and the fact you are running more than 1 color but you can play it all off 1 color of mana. No trouble getting multiple lands.

I've been looking forward to making a mono-green hybrid. Of what I saw from the set, there's some cards I'm interested in:
- The Avatars (the ones related to green, of course);
- Wi****l Selkie (decent draw power);
- Desecrator Hag (Good defense against mill strategies);
- Doomgape (you don't have to ask);
- Quillspike (who doesn't?);
- The green-hybrid Lieges (one for multiplayer, one for solo play);
- Snakeform (beats Lignify in speed);
- Spitting Image (no comment);
- Primalcrux (I am a green player, so...);
- the Demigod Auras; and
- Gilder Cairn
And of course, there's the mono-greens:
- Swirling Spriggan;
- Primalcrux;
- Bloom Tender; and
- Talara's Battalion.
