just caught latias...and i need a few suggestions on its EV distribution and wat attacks it should have. all suggestions welcome (btw, nature is gentle...+sp.def, -def)

Did you use the EON Ticket or did you find it in the wild? If you used the EON Ticket, this is the standard moveset:

Latias@Soul Dew
Gentle Nature (Modest would have been better though)

Dragon Claw
Calm Mind
Thunderbolt/Psychic/Ice Beam
Recover

EVs: 252 Sp. Att., 252 Speed, 6 HP

If you found it in the wild, give it a Lum Berry or the Leftovers.

Uh, actually, Recover Lati@s died a while ago. I think this is the standard:

No one uses Soul Dew for the same reason no one uses Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza. Although in environments where it is acceptable, you should use Soul Dew.

Latias and Latios should have basically the same moveset and EV distribution. Overall, latios is better, but anyways...

Even though dragon claw would get STAB, ice beam covers dragon, grass, and ground. Claw would only cover dragon.

I'm really speed crazy, and usually have the maxed speed set, as setting up the wall before getting hit can make quite a difference, though you're going to do a lot of switching.
