King's Rock

I just used king's rock on my Slowpoke (in pokemon silver) and made it Slowking but I want to evolve my Polywirl into a Politoed can I somehow get another King's Rock? :confused:

Take the King's Rock from Slowking and give it to Poliwhirl.

The item will have been used in the evolution.

There's a small chance (like 1.5%) you can steal a King's Rock from wild Poliwhirl, Slowpoke, and Slowbro using Thief. Or you can try catching a bunch of wild ones to see if the item is attached, but the Thief method is easier and doesn't require Pokeballs.

You can also steal a King's Rock from other Pokemon (but I don't know if you find them in the wild): Poliwrath, Politoed and Slowking. There's a trainer somewhere with a Slowking and you can get that trainer's phone number. Each time you battle them you can steal a King's Rock. I don't know the name nor route but it's a Cooltrainer in the area between Kanto and Johto. Sorry if this isn't too helpful.

other pokemon hold other items that you can use thief on too. eg. metal coat on magnetites or the really hard to find silver powder on wild venomoths. i thought i heard 1 in 20 chance before, but maybe 1.5 in 100 is right. either way, you'll need patience and more than one thieving pokemon unless you want to make alot of trips.
