This is a deck I was working on at the beginning of the month. I tweaked it around, found a few card combos, just looking for some analysis now. A Promise Made, in the best situation, saves Sajin - Unmasked and tosses out Tetsuzaemon - Quiet, and Daydreaming is meant to recycle Tetsuzaemon - Quiet. My only concerns are the amounts of 'x2' I'm running. With Stealth Force Training Grounds, I'm considering removing Kaname - Solemn Obstacle as a whole. I also feel I have too many different kinds of Sajin, but these are all concerns I hope you'll be willing to give me advice with. Thanks.

Enraged needs to be at four. Daydreaming seems useless.

I'll try the first suggestion. Daydreaming would be, attack with Quiet, put him back on the top of my deck to make opponent lose 3 cards, next turn have him back in my hand to discard another 3, unless it feels too spacious.

It could be easily replaced with Balance of Souls. Play him one turn, that's three. Attack with him, Balance him to drop three, play Resting and deplete for Dressing Room to get Quiet, next turn attack with Resting and pop him for one, drop Quiet to drop another three.
Your opponent just lost seven cards and a character.

Good math... I'm sold. But that'd be 2 Balance of Souls in the deck, any suggestions on what to replace the Enraged with? I'm considering the Solemn Obstacles.

-1 Sajin - Squad 7 Captain
-1 Repentance Cell Guards - on the Job
+2 Sajin - Enraged

By that I assume you mean to tell me Solemn Obstacle will still have some use after the SFTG?

You're not always going to have Stealth Force Training Grounds, and having both out isn't a terrible thing either.

I decided to add in Clash of the Titans (great for Tetsuzaemon - Quiet) and I'm at a loss for character balance, if anybody has advice for that.

Hey there like to make some opinions
- 1 Repentance Cell Guards ( that messes up turn 2 sajin enraged)
- 1 Shuhei - Remorseful
- 2 Sajin - Squad 7 Captain (Too many overlays ( I rather have enraged on the field to discard cards than +2)
- 1 Tetsuzaemon - Quiet
- 1 or 2 Peace At Last (seems like a waste because your guardian makes your opponent lose power especially when equipped with Kokujo Tengen Myo-oh)
+ 2 Sajin Unmasked (Works Great with working out) and the raigeki effect
+ 1 Tetsuzaemon - Resting (If you start with him you have a trun 2 sajin enraged)
+ 1 or 2 Sake (with kaname or shuhie)
+ 1 Relentless Assault or Overreacting
+ 1 Relentless Assault or Overreacting
+ 1 Balance Of Souls
I like the careful planning at 3 with shuhie on the lookout works great if your opponent has one character in there hand
This also give you
4 Tetsuzaemon resting
4 Sajin Enraged
4 Sajin Unmasked
and all other characters at 3 (except for repent cell guards)
ditch repentence cell guards and find room for dressing room. also, i think four balances is a must. i usually have my opponent with no hand + tesuzaemon quiet on the field. after they draw two, i balance him, making him discard those two cards.

Yeah thats a dirty move Victor that you used on me. Balance + Tetsuzaemon equal gayness. lol I double drew and then he just discarded them again. I did have a bad hand tho. Oh well Vic 7/9 deck won me.
lol, i was actually surprised i beat both gin decks yesterday. i just wonder how well this build is. both mine and ricky's 7/9 don't run reality checks *.*

when you think about 7/9 doesn't really need them if u destroy the very esscense of the game. so it makes room for more cards. personally i don't even use balance in my deck sense i only have 1 at the moment for the deck so i found it useless. then again i run 4 sajin unmasked =D
i run 4 unamsked too, but he's a turn 5 charachter and if you run balances you can turn 4 tetsuzaemon + balance to get rid of 4 cards from your opponnents hand (this helps for sajin's effect as well). it's even sweeter when he has nothing already in his hand and you balance the tetsuzaemon on their turn after they draw =D

very true 4 card discard then a character gone is pretty good

Alright, I re-worked the deck a bit, but I gotta say, running 25 characters makes me incredibly antsy. I haven't had a problem yet but...

U should put in the Jirobo that bounces a guy back. I know it goes against the theme, but hes hefty and gives u a little extra defense.
