My two favorites are Umbreon and Typhlosion. Its to bad Typhlosion can't learn thunder punch anymore.

I have a lot of favorites...

Lugia- Lugia is awesome.

Houndoom- Houndoom's awesome too.

Registeel- I loved registeel from the moment I set eyes on it, even before I knew it's type, attacks, or stats. I didn't like it any less when I figured out that it's indestructable.

Hoppip- I like anything that floats/slithers/whatever without legs.

Golem- I don't know why, I just love this pokemon. I never use it against humans or in the battle tower, but it's the only pokemon that I've trained in every single version I've bought.

Magikarp- I use this in battle a lot against human trainers, it's hilarious. My freinds are all bad at pokemon so I don't worry about losing. The most skilled of my freinds always uses a mightyena with theif, crunch, bite, and faint attack... she sounds like a moron, but she's just arrogant and won't take anyone's advice. Arrogant people are worse than morons though. Anyway magikarp evolves into gyarados, one of the best pokemon.

Clefairy, cleffa, and clefable- Because I like them.

Sharpedo- Maybe not the best, but I've found it really useful.

Blaziken- Blaziken is one of the best.

Raticate- It's ugly and weak but I like it. Maybe because real rats are cute, and this is the only rat pokemon unless you count the pikachu family.

Ninetails- One of the few pokemon that's improved from it's r/b version. I trained one in my first blue version but I evolved it before it learned flamethrower, I was really sad when I learned it could only learn it as a vulpix.

Seviper- It's a snake. Arbok's cool too, but it looks more like a legless lizard if that makes sense.

Mew- How can anyone not like mew?

Red, Blue and Yellow: Mewtwo first, and the following as well, Dragonite, Gyarados, and perhaps Gengar and Alakazam. No Linzoy, no everyone likes Mew. I can't stand it. Tries to hold a candle to Mewtwo, a Pokemon better in every way other than the TM usage. Nidoking and Nidoqueen are favorites too.

Gold, Silver and Crystal: Tyranitar without a doubt. I didn't mind espeon either, but again I'm a sucker for powerhouses, and the dark and psychic types. I don't mind Machamp either. At this time any ways.

Ruby and Spphire: Meh, these were disgraceful Pokemon. Uhh, Slaking was kinda cool and Regis were great, but otherwise as for character design, I didn't like to many. Milotic was okay as well.

In my view, those 3 are equal in their awesomeness. They all have the same body structure; tail, fangs, maybe not so much of a horn for Tyranitar, but they're all these big brutes with massive ATK power :D
