Genesis Chamber in Affinity?

I think Genesis Chamber out of Darksteel may fit well in affinity builds. It's an artifact that costs 2 and when a non-token creature is put into play put a 1/1 Myr Artifact creature into play. The fact that the myr is considered an artifact creature is what leads me to believe this would do quite fine. What do you think?

If you did use it, sideboard only. VS any aggro deck they will really out number you. S-G Commander gives your opponent 5 1/1 myr. But if you side it in vs W/x control it would help. Free creatures to pound on your opponent are always nice.

S-G Commander wouldn't becuase it is non-token. I see what you mean, though. Against a Goblin deck I would get <pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz><pojo ownz>-slapped.

Oh my bad on teh tokens. But you get the point. WW, Elves, Zombies/Goblins each run over almost all creatures, and affinity has 12-8 usually. But vs some control decks I think it would be an ok idea.
