The Team Dueling tournament is going to be held as a side event at the National Tournament. The exact day for it is yet unknown (at least it is to me). It is not an invite only tournament. If you win a certificate you get free admission into the Team Dueling tournament, but anyone can lay in it regardless of having ever done it before.

For Canada the certificate must be brought to get into the tag nats. However they are giving out those invites everywhere. Stores have started having hobby league tag team once a month and winning team gets invite.
Again, There Is No such Thing as "Tag Team" Dueling.
You Do not Tag your Partner in to take over the Game for you until they need a Break.
Anyway. Team Dueling Championships as its Correctly Called will be Held Sunday at 2pm. Entry is Open to Any Persons wanting to enter. The Entry Fee is $15 per team if not entering with the Certificates. Prizes have yet to be Named.
Have a Nice Day.

There's no such thing as "invites" for Team Dueling's championship. I know you guys all are addicted to that term, but you all need to stop using it because it's causing a lot of confusion. Anyone can play. There are no invites. The certificate that you get gives you a free entry, but you have to bring it with you.

I am told that the coverage of the final match will be posted on metagame at some point this week. I don't want to ruin it for anyone! :)
The final match was definitely one for the ages. There were a whopping 59 teams in the event! Thanks so much to all that came down to participate. With this kind of a turnout, I'm confident in recommending to my superiors to continue the program into the future. :)

Go on to upperdeck's website, UDE.com. From there, just click on the yugioh section and it should be on that page.

The coverage is currently up, if you haven't noticed it already
Again, thanks to Jason for doing this, and an excellent job at that. Having to keep up with 4 players instead of the 2 he's accustomed to couldn't have been easy.
