Abra i suppose as you can use it in the BT
Jirachi's max stats all over is like 328-
can'tsee why its banned, when even Latios is better then it

Alakazam makes a good special sweeper.

Jirachi makes a good pseudo-passer. I've never used it as a sweeper, although it could do some mean Thunder-Dancing, with Thunder and Water Pulse both getting the Serene Grace bonus for possible parafusion.

I never use pokemon like that. I usually just give them a moveset so they can handle as many things as possible that may come their way without relying on the others.

Ex:Swampert is a Water/Ground, making it 4x weak to Grass (Which is it's only weakness). All I need is a great speed IV, a bunch of Speed Ev's, and an Ice Beam. That way, Swampert has virtually no weakness.

Jirachi has some Defense so i'd choose him, he's still easily beaten tho (i used to use him)

The best way to counter Swampert's grass weakness is with Mirror Coat. Max HP and give 40 special defense EVs and he'll survive a non-CH Leaf Blade. You never see grass types, all you really see is HP:grass, and you don't have any chance at outspeeding the only used grass type (Sceptile), so why bother with speed? The only reason for Ice Beam on Swampert is with 40 special attack EVs he can OHKO Salamence.

I'm still pretty new to the whole IV/Ev stuff. Up till a month or two ago, I just played based on types, moves, natyres, abilities, and the stats that you could see

You can see EVs in effect. At level 100, the max bonus you can get from EVs is 63 in one specific stat, and in all 127 in all. And if one of those stats is influenced by the nature, then you get greater (or lesser) results.
