i am serious :confused: how early game will survive when they all lose growth as shikamaru lost it when he became chunin. and how there will be very few new early game ninja.

Well, there is the Konohamaru Ninja Squad

But that is really it I guess, make sure to save the early drops

Don't know what that means but when I think of subsets, the InuYasha and Bleach TCGs comes to mind.

Pretty sure certain cards like Choji and Shikamaru Formation will be used for a long time until they (or one of them) take(s) an errata or something. They're just too damn good to not be used.

but what do other decks do for early game
i run one choji and 1 chunin shika and 2 shika iq in my byakugan deck.
but the other decks i run i do not use them as they are not the right elements for those decks so i do not use them.

Both Choji and Shika are staples. Choji is arguably the best 0 drop in the game and worthy of an errata because he makes a bunch of other 0 drops crap. The only other 0 drop that can stand up to him is a healed CoP. As for Shikamaru, he IS the best 1 drop in the game no doubt about it. I run at least two copies of each in all my decks except for NVS.

staples is what is wrong with card games
if you run mono non earth they should not be in ur deck. or a fire/wind theme they should not be in that deck either.
i hate playing some one and seeing the same cards in everybody deck. last tourney i went to you could not tell what anybody decks where suppose to be til turn 5 as all anybody did was on turn 0 play choji usform turn 1 play shika us form turn 2 gaara tn turn 3 by this point they have killed choji and play another one, turn 4 if they killed choji they play another one then turn 5 bam finally they play there actual theme cards. all 3 of the games i played at the last tourney went like this. one was water deck i did not know till turn 5 cause he summoned kabuto. 2nd game was a fire deck he layed kakashi es then turn 6 itachi, 3 game lighting deck he summoned jiraiya ps

Shippuuden coming out nice, but still, I think they need to make some erratas to balance the game. Some characters are still overpowered and untouched.

Jim, your concern about staples is why most people are upset that Bandai has yet to act on the problems associated with Gaara TN. Locally we have decided not to play it.

Gaara TN isn't a problem where I live either. Either we don't have him or we refuse to run him. I only run him in NVS but otherwise, I refuse to use him as well.

why print them then it is like what pokemon did to pikachu then came out with Pichu now you have to play. they baned all the old cards. if you are just gonna play the old ones why buy set 11 at all just go to place like ideal808 and get the supers which save you $$$ rather then buy box after box.
if people are not gonna run them do not print them save some trees.
i just trashed like 300 nonfoils because they were crap and were only used for a set then got replaced. i would say 97% of the cards i trashed are not used in anybodies deck anymore.

i think what japan did with shipp was best a brand new game. as they saw that the death of early game and decided to just create new game. bandai decide to not do that and we see hoe broken the us only cards are they us form's gaara tn etc. all the shupp cards we get will be us only thus probably be broken.

i use to do that but i was called stupid for running one sasuke with one effect and one sasuke with different effect, i believe zero said i was dumb and that the way i ran that deck there was no constituency running it like that. he also said the same as my other deck ran 3 zab 1 demon 1 zero vis 1 roarorge he said the samething.
