I can't seem to breed a good Mudkip

Using my MarshStomp and Aron, I try to get a Mudkip with good IV's. Again...and again...and again. The highest that they've gotten so far is an average of 18 (30 was the highest for any 1 stat). Since I've used both Marshstomp and Aron, and didn't keep track of EV's, I don't know their genes. So I'm not sure if it's bad luck or bad genes.

Because I trained Marshstomp and Aron, I can't find out their genes. So I don't know if I'm trying to breed 2 pokemon with inferior genes. And I did read your post, but all it did was end up confusing me.

Edit:I looked at your summary. It makes better sense, and I may use it.
