With the permission from TMD, I was given a thumbs up to start the first of (hopefully) many The Legend of Zelda-The Phantom Hourglass tournaments.
As an experiment, for the first tournament the maximum amount of participants I will allow to join is 12 to make the sign up process move along faster so we can get this thing going ASAP. If there is a much higher demand to join I'll increase it in size (but until then, 12 is a safe number to start at.)
The Rules:
Each match will be played in two rounds, with both players picking the map of their choice. In the result of a tie, a stage will be picked at random to decide the winner.
After the match is over, both users will PM me with the results. If the results mesh the match will count. If not you must replay your battle and send me the new results. If they do not match again then both players will forfet.
If you feel as if you have been cheated and want to defend your results, send me a report. If you can back them with proof I will discuss the information with TMD and you will be brought back in and the cheater will be put on the tournament ban list.
Modding is absolutly PROHIBITED. If you are caught modding you will forfet the match and will be put on the tournament ban list.
If you turn your game off to avoid a loss on your record you will forfet your match to the other player.
