Is FF:CC for me?

OKay, I've been reading a few reviews and they have all been saying the game is great...for multiplayers. I, however, rarely get anyone to play video games with me around here and will be playing the game solo, which most people say will make the game rather boring. However, I absolutely love games like Gauntlet: Dark Legacy and play them solo. so should I get the game or not? I doubt I can convince my brother to play with me.

hears a few good reason's for you then.
1.you can link FFTA with FFCC to unlock more stuff the spacifics are still unconfirmed to me.
2. it's a cool game very much like buldars gate but not more like legends of mana but four player.
3.it's a square-enix game so you already know it's gonna be quality.jan

This game is a huge rip off (i know you dont want to hear this but i dont care)
It has great music and it is a fun game.

the games isn't all that good, its fun for a while but it gets really boring (but i dont like mindless hack and slash games)
and IGN also said it wasen't that good but gave it a good rating *somthings up* *remembers that they take pay offs*

and its done by square enix......it didn't make the game good..

That guy is totally ignorant of what this game is, he has never played it. Just b/c the PS final fantasies are great doesn't mean that everything else sucks.
This is not a mindless hack and slash game and will still be great on the single player level. SquareEnix put a lot into this, and this company's rep alone is enough to verify that it will be an amazing rpg adventure. The storyline may not be the best EVER, but the gba makes for an unmatched multiplayer experience.

No you woulnt, you only need two of those, because its MULTIPLAYER (more then one player)

BTW, Square-enix didnt develope this game.

EGM gave it 3 8's, so they liked it. It looks to be a fun game to me, and the GBA screen ought to be a neat addition.

Well i could play this or upgrade my pc...hmmm not a hard choice.

I am not going to spend $400 on one game, to get its best experiance.

IGN gave the game a 8.0, but did you actually READ the review? they said the game was FAR from perfect, but a good game. and i agree, its great if you have 400 to spend on ONE game. lets tally up these costs.

4gba's = $530 the game =70 link cables = 60

realizing you spent this much money for a AVERAGE rated game. PRICELESS

now, i am sorry. BUT I DONT OWN A GBA, and i dont have money to waste on one. NINTENDO wants me to have a NINTEDO home, ***** THAT. This games good, but only on multi. and you need to do that much for multi...its not worth it.

things i could do with $730 i could get a gba, xbox, ps2 AND a GC. or i could get final fantasy CC. the choice is yours, but the game is a HUGE ripoff.

Well, thank you everyone for your opinions. After reviewing what everyone said, I think I will buy the game. BTW, multiplayer means more than one player, meaning two could be used or even three. And I actually kind of enjoy hack-and-slash games. I will considerrenting before buing, however very few places around here rent any new video game releases. Thanks for all the opinions once again.

DO NOT GET THIS GAME! YOU NEED FOUR GAME BOYS, AND FOUR LINK CABLES TO UNLOCK A GOOD PORTION OF THE ACTUAL GAMEPLAY! thats a lot of money to spend to get one game[if you want to play all of it.]. 4 people need to be playing to unlock it completely.

well, i will always be finding myself saying, "The FF series is awesome....except for the one on the GCN."

i said this on the old board..it was gonna bring the series a bad name, as well as square...
