Does anyone know when ude will update their yugioh website for the sneak peek ( LODT )?

April most likely? Or closer to when the packs come out.

The pre-release is somewhere near the 26th either a week after or before that.

so probably 3 weeks before the prerelease they will release the info.

Odd. The set's released like, the 8th. It should be April 19th-20th.

Didn't think so. Isn't the Sneak Peak normally 2 weeks before the set's out?

Did you not notice the italicized should? I'm not disputing the information, I just think it's weird to have a Sneak Peak for a set released four days later.

Not at any of the ones I've been to. Which sucks; I'd buy extra LODT packs.

well ude dan said something that he usually says when he is talking about a set.(you haven't seen all the lightlords yet, when the set was fully spoiled) so that means that if you want to play lightlords then you need the sneak preview card since it will help that deck

That... or there is a really mean Lightsworn monster incuded in the Set that people are going to want.. I would expect the sneak preview promo to be something more assessible to the Set as a whole, and not just the Lightsworn.

Perhaps they have to wait until Shonen Jump puts out a mail blast or has an article in the magazine; or their digital department just isn't working on it.

Could be generic Light support, but I've got my money on a Lightlord. If it's a Batteryman, I will walk all the way to the UDE company and smack every person who contributed to that decision. If it's a Frog, replace 'smack' with 'bake cookies for'.

All signs point to the first weekend of May.
UDE probably will put up info within 2 weeks

Then is the release 2 weeks after May 3rd or 4th?

That's usually the case, yeah

The Sneak Preview is on May 3 and 4. The various PTO websites are correct.

If it's "Batteryman Frog" do you smack us or bake us cookies? Or do you smack us with the cookies you baked? :(

I'm not going to tell you what the Sneak Preview promo card is or what it does, but I've seen what it does and it looks pretty good to me. I think you'll all want it, so make those Sneak Preview plans now.

And remember to show up early, because supplies are limited (as you all already know by now I'm sure).

they'll update at around the same time when they fix the standings

Since you're here I have a question.
Usually there is always a set each year that sometimes permits being a set that isn't a "must have" choice. A set similar to this would be CDIP for example last year. I myself am curious to go just for the hardcore battery support, but it also isn't really big enough to coax any peers I know to afford to make another 2 hour trip this time around. (I'm sure it's pretty hard for everyone to attend every SP each year.)

Anyway, while I'm probably more bound to save for Duelist Genesis and its new format for the tcg, I have to ask aside from the promo card, if you already have an idea of (any of) the ocg (or new) cards added to this set (LODT) at this point. Are the level of (new) cards that were added to PTDN on par with this next set? I ask because THAT is my personal deciding factor I'm hanging onto as to whether or not I should break the bank in making in attempt to acquire whatever cards appear there firsthand.

Could this set be seen as the CDIP of this year and more attention saved for DG?

You're basically asking him if the set is bad enough that you can afford to skip it.

Even if that turns out to be the case, he's not going to confirm that. It's in UDE's best interest to make EVERY SET a "must have," anyway. I'm sure some of the UDE-created cards are going to be highly playable, as always.

Well I never said that LODT is bad. Heck even CDIP had some cards I liked. There is always gonna be a set that we all rank low each year. I'm just trying to see if he thinks the added cards in his opinion are really good. He already thinks the promo is pretty good, so why not ponder something else new from the set?

Minato Namikaze
03-26-2008, 05:52 PM
The set is already decent as it stands. Its not on IOC standards but it is better, in my own opinion, then other sets (EOJ, TEAV, etc.) Then to add OCG cards and TCG exclusives then makes it better. I really don't have a problem with the set and if I could afford to plunk down a lot of money on the set, I would.

It'll all be worth it if the promo card is as good as grandmaster. Then I can make my money back on ebay. Use to have 6 grandmasters. Ebay is my friend. :D

If it's "Batteryman Frog" do you smack us or bake us cookies? Or do you smack us with the cookies you baked? :(

First I make the greatest Batteryfrog deck in the world. Then... uh... yeah, good question. Depends which it supports better.

It's in you guys' best interests to make some killer frogs. I'm in the middle of making Super Duper Snickerdoodles. Best cookie ever.

Well I hope I can still go when the time comes.
Most people probably don't want any D-ENDs they pull as well as the golem fusion....
