Crunch Time!

Its getting time for another U.S Yugioh Nationals in june, Do you feel pressure that you won't get the Invite before the time is up. I have Many times, Though I have my invite now. Getting it early in the season lets you relax.

Since it is crunch time, people are gonna play harder than they have before and even other people from other states and areas will come to get another shot at the invite before time is up. Do you Play harder, More Focused or do you stay laid back and not try to worry about it

I've wanted to go to Nationals since I was thirteen.... closest ever was 13th at a 150 person regs...
omg I want an invite so badly yet I'm not willing to dish out money for DAD or stuff like that.

Not really much pressure. I don't care enough about playing the game I think. I went to nats without the invite last year and it turned out to be alot more fun not caring than caring and killing myself/spending 3 days in a smelly hot room with stupid kids/broken combos (lol troop-dup ftw)

I'd love to go back to Ohio again though. Columbus was a pretty nice city and it'd be nice to see more of it.

I fail to see how winning a Flat-Screen Plasma TV and a Trip to somewhere in a different country is a joke.

I feel the pressure...at least a little. Only year I qualified was 06 right before I retired. I came back this year and learned my old teammate had gotten an invite and said he would really like to go, but he didn't want to go alone.

So I pulled the team together and we all tried to get in.

But...I fail...terribly.

At the end of the regional, I was 11th >.<

Good thing about being 5th in Ireland is I don't have to play to qualify (but I topped 3 Regionals anyways :D)

I really felt the pressure before I left the country...
I only had time to play one regional...

I came in 5th... o.O I got a game loss going into the first round of the top 8 (a game loss I shouldn't have been given, as I'd already recieved one for the same reason earlier in the tournament- I didn't write Heavy Storm on my decklist, so I had to take it out of my deck... what's more- my opponent KNEW all this, and played accordingly... knowing I didn't have Heavy...) Yeah... LCQs, here I come.
