What pokemon?

I saw somewhere that you could control what lv100+ pokemon you get and its level. Does anyone know where I can find what i will get? I think the guide was at gamefaqs, but it isn't there anymore

I think they're talking about the level 100+ Pokémon you get from the MissingNo bug...

I think your name determines the Pokémon you run into, though I have no idea what names corrospond to which Pokémon.

I know what you get if your name is Angel: lvl. 132 Cloyster and lvl. 41 Fearow

But that was in a french version.

Many Pokémon of levels exceeding 100 can be found when searching for MissingNo. Which Pokémon appear is entirely random, though it's generally believed that the name you choose at the beginning of the game predetermines them. This helps explain why everyone runs into different things.

For instance, my name was Blue and I rean into wild Blaines and fully-evolved starter Pokémon.

It's another part of the game's many glitches... but the high-level Pokémon you run into are very powerful and can be difficult to fight. Only for the strong.

These pokemon can't be leveled higher than at the level you catch them. If they gain any experience, they go down to level 100. See "mssingno" topic for more info.

Yeah, they had regular Pokémon attacks, but with the name and image of Blaine... things were getting a little too weird.

It has to deal with ur name, the placement and the letters. Like RED results in lvl 100+ Mewtwo(tried it works!!). Try this site:

Venusaur1 - Do you know the MissingNo trick? If not, that explains why you can't find them.

PS. You can't gain levels for them from experience, but you can use rare candies. They can go up to L:?254? this way. Technically, up to 255, but my game started having problems then.

I run into Snorlax's (LOL) Golbat's (Pathetic....) Muk's and Kinglers....(more UU-ness...but I like te Snorlaxes..

i know that the even letters control the level and the odd controls the pokemon. If you have your name as RED, D will give you mewtwo, T is missingno, O and S are Haunter and Clefable, (I don't know which one)

do they gain levels by them self if you train them i know they will lose there levels if they gain 1

can you trade the Level 255 pokemon to c/s/g? If so i wouldwant onix then trade it then evole it into steelix!
