This question has been on my mind for a while: Where are you more likely to pull a Secret? Booster or Blister? Or is there a difference at all?
The PTDN series is the first one in which I have actually focused on that a little bit. During the course of the series I have gotten about 55 boosters (2 boxes and the Sneak) and I would say close to the same amount of blisters.
Booster secrets: 6
Blister secrest: 0
Is my question already answered by my pulls? Or is it well-known that you don't get secrets from Blisters and I just don't know it?
I also want to add I have bought more GLAS blisters lately, and I've gotten MUCH better pulls than I was getting 3 months ago before PTDN ... does that mean something?

I say booster. Blisters are usually rigged to give you rares.
Booster Secrets: 5
Blister Secrets: 1

Blister Secrets: 4
Booster Secrets: 0
These are only from PTDN, however, seeing as I don't remember any other sets...

Now I find this untrue...to a certain degree. PTDN is hard to get in my area because so many people want it, so I am normally forced to head over to Wal Mart or Target to buy myself blister packs.
I usually drop $20 at a time and you'd be surprised at my results.
I don't mean to imply that it's purely BETTER to buy blister packs. I know a certain % is luck, but I've pulled Rainbow Dark Dragon, Dark Red Enchanter and Dark Grepher

Blisters DO still have secrets, I can confirm that my friend pulled a Zerato just last week.

That's exactly my problem, Buster. I don't have any boosters near me, so I get Blisters from the Target down the street. I bought 7 yesterday, 3 more today. My best pull was a Vampire's Curse.

Whent the PTDN SE comes out it might be easier to pull SCRs just like how it was easy to pull them in the GLAS SE.

It's easier to pull in SE's? So, I should go buy the GLAS SE's that are at Target right now to get the secrets?

Well i bought 2 of them and pulled 2 secrets out of the GLAS packs (RFG and Tounge Twister). My friend only bought 1 and pulled a Necroface.

I think it's pretty even if you get them when they first put them out.
After blisters have been there a while, they tend to get picked over by creepy jerks with pocket scales, so your chances go way down.
At least with the SE packs you have a fair chance.

I thought pocket scales were used for the boosters more than blisters.
Additional Comment:
I thought it was easier to scale a booster than to scale a blister.
Scaling a blister is near impossible to do. Just bc of the weight of the cardboard/glue/etc. Anyways blisters have the better goods in them by a wide margin

It's either scales or other methods.
When there are only a few packs left on the shelves, you can pretty much guarantee they're not secrets.

I got them as they were stocking yesterday, chose 7 ... and my best pull out of those 7 was ... well, I don't have a best pull. THey were: Offering to the SD, GF Fish, Future Samurai, Lonfire Blossom (probably the best), Castle gates ...

blisters may screw you over by having the magna-tag test card in them that feel as heavy as a foil rare

scales don't work because of the random test cards that weigh the same as foil rares

The Dark Red Enchanter secret I pulled from a blister had an inventory control card insert in the pack with it.
The same was true for the Phantom Skyblaster UR I pulled from the Jaden3/Jesse combo pack.
Not that it's a certainty (another ICC pack netted me a Legendary Fiend rare), but I tend to believe the ICC packs have better cards.
And they don't even have to be scaled. If you're into feeling up all the blisters on the rack (talk about creepy), you can find them.

Well, I have never gotten a tag in mine. I usually try to eye them from the side to see if any look more bent than others (I don't trust myself on feeling for weight). Is that not a good idea ...
Also, had errands to run so I bought another PTDN Blister and a GLAS SE (I certainly hope my wife doesn't look at our CC bill this month). I pulled a EH Swift Gaia, Defensive Tactics, Darkbishop Archfiend, and a Rainbow Life (and, of course, the Vortex Trooper).
I think I am just done with packs. I'll probably just keep buying boxes (2 Light of Dest. boxes preordered already).

I hear that.
I can get away with ebay and blisters (while running errands-LOL), but I could never get away with a whole box. I think that's legally grounds for divorce.

I get so much more value out of the boxes. I'm sure if I explained to her how much money I spent on blisters and on boxes then talked about the value I get out of it, she'd rather me get a box.

The only box my wife would get me is a coffin.
She likes to play, but would rather spend money on things like clothes and food.
Foolishness!
