although i know that they are not even close to tier 1 would a cyberdark deck be worth building? i'm torn between this and a six samurai deck and seeing that everybody has an opinion i want to hear it, might actually help me decide what to build thanks!!!

Don't even bother to build a cyberdark deck. It will be too slow to competer with the current meta. It would be a better choice to build Six Samurais (unless you don't have Grandmaster)

Yeah, go with Six Samurai. They're pretty cheap (besides Grandmaster, which is hard to find and/or expensive. And they're very playable this format.

Heck even play Zombies. They have the speed and the draw power to actually compete in this format.

For tournament six samurais. For fun cyberdark.

well i want something that has the chance to win and can compete but i'm seein the support and abilities of the samurai deck and i'm like " wow that would be so much better" so i'm not mistaken in goin the six sam route then?

no your not. But zombies can also compete this format as well (they are even cheaper than samurais!! lol). Right now me and my cousin are working on a zombie deck with the new PTDN cards (not Vampire's Curse lol) and we have been playtesting it, and it works very well.

if you can get DADs, try D.A.C. (Dark Armed cyberdarks). It could work.

Samurais would be better or play Plants its pretty easy to find everything

What is good about plants, is that they can FTK first turn (my friend did it against me)

Zombies, if you are playing the best version, is still somewhat spendy ($200-$300). Masters, Goblin Zombies, and Il Blud.
Dad decks are ridiculous.
DDT is a great deck but will run you about $600.
Samurai are about $200 or so, depending on how much you pay/trade for grademasters.

plants are pretty cool with the possibilities now but i gotta admit that they just don't hold that "x factor" that i'm looking for in finding all the pieces then playing it, as far as anything "dad" i dunno, it costs ways too much, i think the grandmasters i can swing but a set of dad? no way
Additional Comment:
although it looks like i'll have to purchase the grandmasters i think that would be a good purchase

samurais are more competitive cyberdarks are way too slow in our meta especially with DAD around

I got my cousins Goblin Zombies for $10 a pop at the sneak preview. DAD will cost you $1000+ and a good DDT build will cost you between $600-1000 (stones are like 150 a piece lol)
My friend just sold a playset of Grandmasters for $200 (and the were Supers!!!), so it will maybe cost you between $250-300.
I hate expensive formats :(

I suggest you try both competitively in order to really determine the answer.

I tried cyberdarks last format, went 4-4 at a regional but won second in a box tourney and made other top fours.

cyberdarks are pretty cool but i want something that can be very competitive as well as the " x factoe" i mentioned earlier, a deck that is so much fun to play, and although i have little experiance with each (gravekeepers ftw!!) i want something that can win

samurais, co burn, and oppression gadgets are your best bet.

yeah i'm seeing that the popular opinion is samurai, which is exactly why i asked the public! great to get info across a broader scale and it looks like all are in agreeance, kinda like using a life line

It's not like Cyberdarks are expensive...
Plus, they are FUN!
Competetively go for Sams, but Cyberdarks are cheap enough to just use on the side...

Six Samurai if you have the Grandmasters, if not, something original and catchy. Preferably something that can K.O. DAD on a consistant basis.
