It's an ok card with a huge price. I'll wait for it to be reprinted and get the cheap versions. It's not that great at one but killer in 3's.

well honestly, every other one has been reprinted so far....so whos to say it wont be reprinted also? besides, IMO the card sux cuz you have to activate its effect... >.<

Actually now that I think about it I would probably just give it to him for what he is doing for the country.

Des was re-printed for Pharaoh Tour's in Europe. So there are 2 versions of it.
Sarc hasn't :P

Unless it is in the gold series, which I am keeping my fingers crossed even though it won't happen, you probably won't see it for a while seeing as the promo cards have been confirmed for light of destruction.

So If I had 2 or 3 "Doomcaliber Knight" on the field and use the effect the 2nd and 3rd negate the first. Also this card would also negate my own monster effects!

if you are that stupid then you might as well quit yu-gi-oh.
same concept as putting 2 LaDD out. same ******edness as putting 2 royal decrees out.
and for your information, the two doom kaliburs can't negate each other because they would all negate chain one...
before you try to sound stupid at least do the research.

and since its ******ed people lock themselves out by just having that 1 card left on the field sometimes. Its another card that takes alot of skill to play which is why people are frustrated with it.
And with 2 doom calipers would they both negate the same card or something or do they just perfectly work together that its always 1 for 1

doomkalibur doesn't take jack for skill to play. it is as hard to play as exiled force.

hey my opponent set a monster. i ram my doomkalibur right into it. he dies, no effect.
hey my opponent has no monsters. i summon doomkalibur and hit directly. if he doesn't destroy it with a spell or trap he takes nearly 1/4 of his LP in damage. if he decides to summon anything, they either have an effect that kills both monsters or have a lower attack than doomkalibur.
just don't be an idiot and play him when your opponent has no set s/ts and a treeborn in the grave, or summon a gadget when you have doomkalibur. how hard is it to play him? just treat him like a mini-hulk style LaDD.

I just dont like cards that hold you back from using certain cards in your hand. I guess I can try him in WC008 in a gadget and then see if its good

The reason why japan had such a dominating gadget deck was probably because of him in 3's and the gorz u were allowed. BTW gadget effect is an optional activation

Half of the logic [if it can even be called that] in this thread has knocked the Pojo I.Q. down to -120.
This is almost as bad as people saying Light and Darkness Dragon sucked after they found out that they actually have to work around it's effect.

i think Doom Caliber Knight works best in gadgets, because there are so many mandatory effects in other decks.
However, that doesn't mean its a terrible card on its own. The 1 for 1 trade off isn't so bad when you look at it.
The only card that really screws up DCK is Frog.

its a forced xiled force, its stupid, its not a 1 for 1 its a -1 on ur feild. curent meta: o look DMOC hits the feild, night will negate o DMOC is outa play, spell eco and d fusion, o sucks 4 u.

Ok..to the one guy..if doomcaliber knight could activate his effect at will, then he would be a 3000 card, but he will hit 1500 maybe less at the most, that's how much cedric sequerra will buy em for for sure. 1000 each..maybe lower.
Hopefully it gets reprinted because it can be ran in 3's. I mean...crush card is gettin to everyone finally so yea
Just read the descripton and overdose have 3 already.
It's going to be interesting to see what they do with them.

This card is alright. it certainly isnt better than sarc or crush, but meh i guess its worthy of being an sjc prize card.

its a decent card i dont think it should have been an sjc prize card, but its certainly better than something more broken that could be bad for the meta(cause DAD doesnt do the same thing)

Also the entire thread needs to be locked for stupidity (at least for anyone who says this is not a good card). Easily one of the best, most balanced, and greatest cards created by Konami that never needs restriction yet is still a fantastic card when used correctly.

It a thousand due to the fact that its new, hasn't been reprinted, very few in circulation, etc. Whether or not its worth that thousand is up to the buyers. I personally dont feel its worth it right now seeing as using only 1 isnt very pro :p
