Weirdest Anime

I just watched an anime called Jungle wa Itsumo Hare Nochi Guu. I think the translation was something like "The Jungle was nice to live in, and then there was Guu." I guess with a title like that I should have expected it to be weird. It was funny, but realllly weird. I was thinking it could be the weridest anime I've ever seen. It got me thinking about other weird anime I've seen like Princess Tutu (cute and weird) and Azumanga Daioh (hillarious and weird). What are some weird anime you've seen?

FLCL ranks up there with the weirdest, as well as BoogiePop Phantom.

It's a no brainer bout FLCL being considered wierd lol. I don't really consider Boogiepop to be too weird.

FLCL made, to me, absolutely no sense in any manner. From cat's appenges from a backward angle, to guitars being pulled outof people's heads. But it was good for the partial nudity. :p . Ow well, eventhough I watched it, I couldn't ever tell anyone what it meant.

FLCL! I don't care what anyone else says! FLCL is the wierdest thing I've seen. Prehaps, someday, I'll see an anime that is wierder...but the odds of that aren't very good.

for a while i though FLCL was the weirdest and i thought it couldn't get any weirder or confusing but trust me Serial experiments lain is a 10 on the scale of weird and confusing and FLCL is a 8.

I agree that FLCL is one of the weirdest out there, but I also think that Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu is strange as well. But, it's so funny. Also, I think that Sakigake!! Cromartie High is pretty strange, too. You have a bunch of insane delinquents, a Freddie Murcury look alike (also named Freddy), a gorilla, and a tin can robot. It's GTO meets Azumanga Daioh, basically, but it's worth a look.

Of course FLCL is weird, did you not see in the credits that it was made by Broccoli International? They're the same guys that brought you the strangenes of Digi Charat!
Another show that is definatly strange but made funny is Fruits Basket. Like pshychic girl Saki, the odd Shigure and so on...

I love the anime too, creepy as it is, but I personally found FLCL to be much more confusing.
Great animation, but I was thoroughly confused throughout the entire one eps I saw.
I'd watch it again though.
Anyhoo, I gotta say other weird ones are SD Gundam, Lupin and BoogiePop Phantom... I just don't get 'em. :confused:

i would agree about FLCL if the last ep hadn't of cleared up all of the confsion. if anyone can tel me what Lain abot after watching the series one te through then shoud ave no pblem uderstanding FLCL.

FLCL was wierd, but I wasn't left confused at the end.

RahXephon was really wierd too, and I was left confused.

Come to think of it, most animes could be considered wierd.

The only reason why I don't say that FLCL is the weirdest anime I've seen is because I don't think it's that weird. It's a little different, but I wouldn't say it's weird. The Matrix, to me, is weird.

I forgot about Excel Saga! I only saw the first couple eps, but man. . . weridness. ^_^ I was going to mention Lain, as many people already have, but I'm only in the middle of it right now, and I'm hoping it'll make more sense later on. It looks like it might, although from what I've heard, it doesn't. ^^;
