Pocket Playstation/Playstation Pocket

Well, I was playing Final Fantasy 8 the other day(its a good game), and I was saving the game, I saw:

[Memory Card Slot 1] [Pocket Station]
[Memory Card Slot 2] [Pocket Station]

i then wanted to knnow where I can get a pocket station...can anyone help me with this?

If I'm not mistaken, they only released the Pocket Station in Japan. It would of been an awesome accessory for the Playstation when FFVIII was released. Sadly it never made it here to the U.S. shores from what I've heard, but I could be wrong. Perhaps there's a way you could import it from a site, but I honestly think you might need the Japanese Playstation to have it work, as it was just released for their systems. Like I said though, I could be wrong.

A Pocket Station and PSP are different things. If you want a Pocket Station try Japan. No seriopulsy, go to Japan. It's the only place you can get one. The PSP will be out soon and be similar to a mini PS2.

pocketstations are cool. a few game stores have them, but sinse they were imported from japan, and numbers are so low, they are very expensive. i actually saw one. the only reason i wanted one was to play the chocobo mini games on it. but that dosn't make it worth it. if you want to try this game download it. if you want the link to download it pm me.

I saw one in a game store in my town. Just one. It was £70. You can buy a PlayStation for less than that now. It looked cool and I wanted it, but the only games I'm aware of that are compatable are FF8 and Ape Escape.
