A friend and I bought 2 of the LADD packs from our local Walmart. And, already in our collection having a Raviel.

So, he opened up his packs and pulled a rare and Uria.

I said "Wow, man... I'm going to pull a Hamon, I just know it" and, there it happened I pulled a rare and there it was a Hamon.

I know there meh... now but it's a wtf moment.

Has anyone else on the board had similar experiances with pulling packs with friends? from Walmart, Target, Meijer etc?

my target is clearancing the STON double packs with shrink, so the other night me and my team mate decided to go buy a few since we use shrink a lot. we were joking about how we were just going for shrinks, and how we would pull a gellenduo. we pulled gellenduo, mole, an ultimate, and another good rare.

i think those are probably the best ive got. but ive had other really good things happen too.

one time at our target i bought two TAEV SE packs and there wernt really any cards which i was specifically looking for so i just opened and go an ULT Crystal Seer, a rare and a Ultra in the LON, I was like **** sweeeet, but when I opened my second one i got a Zombie master and I found out that I completed the TAEV set w/o the secrets.. I knew i was lucky that day so I went and bought two more FOTB SE. planning on getting Raiza, but my friend and i were like ya right lol and stuff,, i opened my first got 2 rares and a norleas, on the second one ii pulled a radiant mirror force and was like o, this is my holo..then IOC which was crap..then on my last FOTB i flipped every card one by one and the fifth was Raiza!!!

I gave a few packs each to all my cousins for Christmas. The last pack was an SOI and I bet that if it was an Ultimate Treeborn I'll trade my Jinzo+Mirror Force for it.
Guess what? I'm now short a 1st ed PSV Jinzo and a 1st ed Ultra Mirror Force.
Was fun though. I tried as I might to get out of fulfilling my end, lol.

I opened a CP02 pack in joke with a friend after the new list was announced all like "I'll pull MOF." since people pulled them while it was banned and were like "of all the supers" and now i'd be the one who pulls it of all supers when it first gets unbanned and will skyrocket in price.

I pulled mof.

Also there are times I've got packs from retailers and had the exact same 9 cards in both packs (and this was back in the day when they sold the original combined set packs like IOC, PSV, PGD, etc, not the 60 pack sets where it's not surprising if 6-7 of the commons are exactly the same). Surprisingly enough those were the last crap packs I bought.

Ever since then when I buy or win a lot of (new set) packs I almost always pull supers or ultimates of a super. With the SE version of STON I ended up pulling like 4-5 holos out (all supers and one ultimate elctrovoltech dragon from EOJ) of the 6 packs, and when I bought a raida power pack recently I pulled a super hydro and some junk rare card that was originally a common. The hydro payed for my pack with a couple bucks change, and the raida probably could give me a few more bucks. Also when I won a tournament and got TAEV SE/LOD stuff I got 8 packs, 6 or 7 of which I pulled supers (no ultras or higher, just supers and an ultimate of a super, lolwut)

I have had to moments like that I can recall.

The First:

When the Invasion of Chaos SE packs came out, all I was needing was a Black Luster Soldier- Envoy of the Beginning, and a Dark Magician of Chaos.

I bought two SE packs and I pulled DMoC in the first one, and in the second one was the last pack that I pulled a BLS- EotB.

I also pulled an Insect Princess, or w/e that's called, but I was like so freaking happy it was ridiculos.

I couldn't stop bragging about it.

The Second:

Prior to the week of this happening I pulled a D.D. Warrior out of a Tournament Pack 7 pack, and my brother really wanted it.

Obviously, I would rather get the $150.00 it was worth than give it up.

So, the following week, my brother asks me to get his TP7 Pack for him because I was really lucky at the time.

I go up there, and he's like, "If you pull a D.D. Warrior I'll never be mean to you again (Obviously he broke that statement).

I open up the pack, sadly, no D.D. Warrior.

When the tournament was over, I go up to get my TP7 Pack, and I pulled another D.D. Warrior.

I don't think I've ever seen my brother so mad at me.

I got a box of GLAS for my bday. My friend was coming over and he wanted me to wait, but i couldnt so i opened 12 packs. All I pulled was jank and 2 defensive tactics. My friend pulled up so I waited for him to get to my basement to open the rest. I opened the next pack and it was Cloudian Eye of the Typhoon. Next was Enishi, and my friend was wanting to build a ss deck so i'm like "hahaha." Then Test Tiger. The Alexander. Then misprint chaos neos ghost. Then magic formula. Then ult malicious edge. Then Alexander.

8 holos in a row right when my friend got there.

Moral: MAKE YOUR FRIENDS BE THERE WHEN YOU OPEN A BOX!!!!!!!

I was laughing so hard because my friend was supposed to of bought that box, but couldn't due to his PC frying on him.

Also, one store had a box of MRD packs that were reduced. I guessed it would have a Mirror Force, and promised to trade it to my bro if it did. I bought a few packs but no luck. Next day I bought the remaining 6 and the last one was a Mirror Force.

When I first started playing after watching the anime and thinking that Blue eyes was the best monster EVAR, I decided that I wanted a Black Skull Dragon, seeing as how I had a Summoned Skull and Red Eyes at the time. I looked up what pack it was in (I forget now) and bought 2 packs. Skull Dragon and Flame Swordsman. I didn't know why it was a fusion and I still don't.

4. Last week, after getting third at a local, my friend said I would pull Security Orb and Updraft out of my prize packs. Guess what I pulled? -_-

2 instances:

1. Went to SOI pre-release and brought along enough money for a box. I think I entered the sneak 3-4 times. I remember I really did pull nothing but rares the first 2-3 times. I was about to give up, but entered the third or fourth time (again long time ago): 1st pack-Jank, 2nd Pack-Jank Super, 3rd-Ult. Ruin, 4th-Ult. Demise, 5th-Hamon and 5 rares inside the same pack.

and of course some idiot offered $20 for hamon when I pulled it, but I didnt sell it.

2. My friend is a freak when it comes to the new sets. Every new set he only buys 3-5 packs and always pulls the best card: Example-POTD Chimeratech ulti., FOTB Grandmaster SCR and Volcanic Rocket SCR, Elemental Energy Flare Wingman Ulti. and so on.

so basically i always get pissed whenever he buys packs before me.

Well, the GLAS Sneak Preview. I met two people there and we were waiting until we coould open the packs. While opening the fourth pack, one of the guys and I pulled Enishi at the same time. Everyone witnessing couldn't believe it. By the way, the other guy pulled a Gil Garth at that time.

when DDS was released (dark duel stories) for the gameboy advanced or w/e came out, it came with the exodia head, a dark magician, and a blue eyes white dragon, .... so im so excited that i finally got an exodia head, after it was on the tv show, my mom gave me $4 for a pack of LOB, i opened the pack, and i almost fainted, each piece of exodia was in the pack... not kidding, holo, all 1st ed, it was the happiest day of my life...lol

but of course once PSV came out i traded them for goblins and a jinzo... but w/e

When POTD originally came out, everyone was buying them, wanting something good at my local. My bro made like 3rd at my local, so he got 1 pack of POTD. He waited for everyone to get their packs, and pull their stuff before getting his pack. Everyone got either bad or ok stuff, except for my bro, who pulled an ULT Chimeratech from his ONE pack. And that was when ULT Chimeratech was going for like $60+.

GLAS is probably the best luck I've ever had with pullings cards out of random packs. EVER.

I bought 4 packs of GLAS when the set was mass released, Elemental Hero Chaos Neos (Secret Rare). I opened a second pack, I pulled Evil Hero Lightning Golem (Ultra Rare). And I opened a third pack, I finally pulled a rare. Cloudian - Acid Cloud.

I finally thought my luck ran out. I then opened the last pack I bought, and I pulled a Secret Rare Gladiator Beast Heraklinos.

A week or 2 later, I bought 1 random GLAS pack I bought at a mall before I went to go see the new movie "The Mist." I opened it, and I pulled a Necroface.

Another time at wal mart again, lol, i pulled ultra cyber end, before they came as rares.

I went to this crappy tournament and for entering you get a pack, so i had my hands on a CRV, but then i put it down and took IOC cuz the week before i had pulled a DmOC. I go to sit and open my pack there i see my friend who was behind me in the line and he took the crv i didnt. I pull some jank, he pulls cyber dragon :|:| This was when they were 40 a peice an di really wanted a set :|:|

Ok, this might be the weirdest one of all. Back when I was 8 or 9, when people went "what the hell is yugioh" my friend introduced me to the game with only one metalraiders pack. The rare was a secret rare thousand dragon(might not be alot now, but back then i bet the price was through the roof) and he gave it to me. now, 4 years later, im still searching for it. lol i didnt even know it was a secret until i was playing the game.:(

greatest moment. for christmas my brothers and i got a jinzo tin to share( i got two packs, my other brother got two packs, adn my other brother got the jinzo and one pack) from my parents friend. i picked the LOB and MRD packs and what do i pull gaia the dragon knight (one of my favorite cards at the time) and barrel dragon (another favorite card). my brothers both pulled rares. :p

There were a few moments that I can't forget.

1st:
When Cybernetic Revolution came out, I've been wanting to get a Cyber Dragon. I was working at a Toys R Us one day in December a couple years ago, and I walked across to the card shop. I bought a pack of Cybernetic Rev with the money I had left, and I ended up pulling an Ultimate Cyber Dragon. :]

2nd:
A short time after I pulled that Cyber Dragon, I went to one of the weekend tournaments of that same card shop. While waiting for the tourny to start, my boyfriend came in and joined also. I let him borrow my Ultimate Cyber Dragon that day.
He ended up winning the tournament, and got a box of Cybernetic Rev. He split with the person he faced(forgot why). He picked the right side of the box. We decided to open the packs there, so we did.
On the last couple of packs, he pulled an Ultra rare Cyber End Dragon. On the pack right under it, which I opened, I pulled an Ultimate rare Cyber End Dragon.
My boyfriend and I looked at each other in amazement. In the end, he gave me the Ultimate Cyber End since he only needed one. I was happy. :D
I gave him my Cyber Dragon as a gift in return.

3rd:
During the time Elemental Energy came out, my boyfriend and I went to a hobby store to look around. Before we left, he asked me if there is anything good in the pack. At the time I didn't know the whole list for the set, so I just shrugged and said "...hrm. Not sure. The only card in there I want though is Water Dragon."(I collect dragon cards, which is why I wanted it)
My boyfriend decided to buy one pack. When we walked back to the car, he opened it. He pulled an Ultimate Water Dragon. =o

4th:
During the whole time starting from Cybernetic Rev, me, my bf, and some friends occasionally buy CR packs, hoping for more Cyber Dragons. We ended up getting Skycraper those times.
We have like 5-6.
The sad part?
They're all unlimited. =(

Ah, now I have more stories.

For Christmas, my aunt bought me the Duelist Pack tin. The moment I saw it, I knew I would get one of the good Ultra Rare cards, but my mind adhered to the idea of pulling a Card Trooper. Sure enough, that is what happened.

Today, I bought some package deals of Yu-Gi-Oh! cards at Wal-Mart with a gift card that I needed to use. In a Spanish pack, I got two rares (Giant Soldier of Stone and Goblin's Secret Remedy). I then opened a pack of Dark Beginnings, and got two more rares (The Masked Beast as a Super and a Rare Dust Tornado). A couple of packs later, I opened a Dark Beginnings two pack, which, among the common cards, contained a Rare Bazoo the Soul Eater and an Ultra Obnoxious Celtic Guard. The Tactical Evolution pack that came with the others looked awfully puffy, so I thought either there would be multiple rares in it or a Secret Rare. So I opened it and shifted through the cards, my mind telling me, "Il Blud, Il Blud, Il Blud..." Until finally... Cyberdark Impact! I was still quite happy, nonetheless. Then I opened my Ancient Sanctuary pack, thinking to myself, "Zaborg, Saturn, Sanctuary in the Sky, any of these three." I shifted through the cards, until... The End of Anubis! I completely forgot about it, even better!

I also got a pack of Tactical Evolution as a Christmas Gift today, containing an Ultimate Doom Shaman. Just a lucky day, I suppose.

last saturday after payday me and my gf decided to buy an open box of the shops unlimited GLAS packs so i bought the 30 packs and ended up with the following:

secret rares:
veil of darkness
super vehicriod stealth union

ult rare: evil hero lightning golem

ultra rares:

2 security orbs
1 test tiger
2 enishii shiens chancellor
2 evil hero inferno wings
3 evil hero lightning

and the rest rares including a dark fusion. needless to say i end up trading my stealth union to a friend for his roid deck to get my e-heros coming back together which included an tp8 magic arm shield ultra rare.

i make friends with a few guys at the card shop whom of which have theoir own team. i traded one guy one of the orbs for his UR ast e-con and the arm shield to his team mate for a injection lily and a 2nd Ur ast e-con. So when im told them i was interested in joining their team...im now know as the guy who pulled a god box of GLAS! lol!

This kind of counts when IOC came out I bought a **** load of packs trying to get a DMOC in the process I pulled 3 Luster Soldiers before actually pulling a DMOC.

Ha, another story. Yesterday, I was at Target and I had heard earlier that day that TAEV was no longer being printed, so I decided to pick up the two remaining TAEV blisters. First one is...Phantome Dragonray Bronto. Great, I'm thinking to myself. I ope the second, expecting Fossil Tusker or something stupid...and it's Crystal Seer! lolz. That makes five I've owned, fourth I've pulled from a pack.
