Reduce all of their Pokemons' HP to zero.

Be serious, Busterslash35! I think dementor was asking HOW you reduce the Elite Four's Pokemon's HP to zero.

Anyway, I looked up their teams on gamefaqs.com and here they are:

Lorelei

#087 - Dewgong
#091 - Cloyster
#080 - Slowbro
#124 - Jynx
#131 - Lapras
#144 - Articuno

Use Electric Attacks on the four Water Types and the Articuno. Fire should take care of Jynx

Bruno

#095 - Onix
#107 - Hitmonchan
#106 - Hitmonlee
#068 - Machamp
#076 - Golem
#112 - Rhydon

Use Grass, Water or Ice on the Rock Types, Flying or Psychic on the Fighting Types

Agatha

#093 - Haunter
#042 - Golbat
#024 - Arbok
#089 - Muk
#003 - Venusaur
#094 - Gengar

Use Psychic Attacks to knock out Agatha's Poison Type Pokemon. You could also use Electric on the Golbat and Fire or Flying on the Venusaur

Lance

#130 - Gyarados
#148 - Dragonair
#142 - Aerodactyl
#131 - Lapras
#006 - Charizard
#115 - Kangaskhan

Use Electric Attacks on the Water and Flying Types, Ice on the Dragonair and Fighting on the Kangaskhan. You could also try Water on the Charizard and Aerodactyl.

my main team is the same one that i used to defeat round 1 of stadium. for all of stadium,

alakazam
lapras
skarmory
golem
machamp
umbreon
is a well rounded team. at first, i just used only damage attack TMs for my pokemon, but found that once i started using some choice stat attacks, my results improved.

if you want one really kick butt pokemon that you can use at almost any gym,

umbreon holding leftovers with:
faint attack (or bite if you aren't facing double teamers)
toxic (while it rests and evades)
double team
rest
is an awesome team member! in round 2, my umbreon that used moonlight instead of rest swept red's ENTIRE team after my starter got a terrible smack. at the end of the battle, umbreon was parylyzed (which is why rest is better), but had ALL of it's hit points intact. little black cat spanked an entei, raikou AND snorlax team on it's own! umbreon rocks.

umbreon is my favorite stadium pokemon. it just has the patience to outlast nearly every pokemon out there. it wouldn't like a resting pokemon or say a fighting scizor, but those are rare pokemon in stadium. once umbreon has maxed it's evasion, it can kick alot of butt. once evading, machamp with vital throw is it's only serious threat.

depending on your team, you might use a psychic umbreon instead of toxic (especially in round two where it must face more poison types) but umbreon can also work well with confuse ray, attraction, mean look, baton pass or curse/shadow ball. i like dark attacking umbreon because no pokemon is immune to a dark attack while giraffarig is immune to ghost (dark = psychic hunter). umbreon can really take a hit and bounce back. THAT is it's strength, not it's attacking power.

a curselax would go far in stadium2 as well as a good kingdra.

ANY pokemon can be the right one if it fills a needed role for the rest of your team. if you want to be cheesy, just go with:

mew2
entei
suicune
raikou
curselax
dragonite (or kingdra)

if you want easy wins

i've swept every gym in round 1 without a single faint using my "common pokemon" team and beat round 2 in just a couple of tries (with some TM changes) with the same pokemon. the most annoying (for my team) was actually the R2 team rocket sunny day/solarbeaming houndoom, but some experience against it and the ability to predict was all it took to silve that problem.

some gym advice
KO koga's pokemon before they finish double teaming or use a pokemon that can't be poisioned or that can recover.

a resting skarmory and t-bolting lapras go far at bruno's. use a bitter and/or miracle berry and/or resting

just keep swapping out of karen's stat attacks until you you can do enough damage or get her with stat attacks of your own eg. toxic umbreon. her pokemon are mostly pretty fast, so a fast pokemon or quick claw can be helpful. otherwise anticipating her stat attacks and swapping pokemon that are immune to them works fine. karen used to annoy me until i started swapping and waiting.

use a pokemon that can take hyperbeams at lances. lapras is really strong at lance's gym as it can ko many of his pokemon with ice, electric or water attacks. a fighter is best for his tyranitar. ice beaming poliwrath is another good choice for lance, but watch out for his fighter hunting flying type pokemon, especially the super fast aerodactyl. a fast electric couldn't hurt there.

try to anticipate swaps at brocks, then you can sweep him easily

have at least one pokemon that can grass attack misty's quagsire. it's quick claw can be very annoying with swaps.

you need several pokemon that quake or can handle psychic/electric combos at surge's. watch out for his surf raichu! that's a good reason to have a quagsire on your team. a grass type would do well against raichu, but would hate the other's ice attacks or psychics if it's grass/poison. pure grass would be better.

use a pokemon that has alot of stamina to withstand red's flinch inducing tauros. resting umbreon is really good there too. his tauros' quake attacks cover rock and ghost pokemon which can easily take it's normal attacks.

other than that, keep tweaking your teams so that you find a way to cover as many weaknesses as possible. if you have a huge hole in your team that causes you a problem, find another pokemon or move that covers more bases. maybe it's just the matter of finding a related pokemon with a different 2nd type that covers the original's weakness.

there are probably 1000 ways to beat stadium. just don't be afraid to make changes until you find what works for you. if you keep doing the same thing every time all of the time, you might not get far.

if you're ONLY using rentals by the way, defeating the elite is a pain and a half because ANY really good rental pokemon will have LOUSY TMs. i NEVER managed to beat lance until i started training pokemon with better movesets.

the rentals in stadium 1 are ALOT better and it isn't at all tough to beat the elite there with just rentals.

the real trick to beating stadium2 is raising your own team. once you do that, it's easy to beat them all nearly every time.

They're talking about pokemon stadium ONE, not two. Read the posts more carefully.

Tauros
TobyBro (Slowbro)
Exeggutor
Starmie
Rhydon/Golem
Jolteon/Raichu (with Surf)

Trying, playing Round too. Also. Counter works well against some "physical attackers."

I beat the elite 4 on pokemon stadium 1 by using my pokemon off of pokemon blue my pokemon were all on level 100 and it well be alot easier to bet them if u have a mewtwo. :D

i don't even think about stadium 1 anymore. whenever i hear stadium. i automatically think S2. i stand corrected.

still, it's easier to beat S1 using trained pokemon too.

some killer S1 rental pokemon (from memory)

alakazam

jynx

or gengar

psychics are really top dogs in S1 which is probably why alakazam is still my favorite battling pokemon.

If you're looking to build a team from a blue/red version, there's two teams that work (well for me anyway).
#1
Gyarados-Thunder, Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Hyper Beam
Snorlax-Strength, Body Slam, Ice Beam, Hyper Beam
Charizard-Flamethrower, Cut, Fire Spin, Fire Blast
Golem-Mega Punch, Rock Slide, Dig, Earthquake
Gengar-Mega Drain, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Psychic
Nidoking-Horn Attack, Submission, Skull Bash, Surf

Gyarados & Charizard wiped out Lorelei, Nidoking & Gengar took out Bruno, Golem & Gengar were used for Agatha, and Gyarados, Snorlax, & Nidoking beat Lance. For Gary...Gyarados, Gengar, and Charizard/Snorlax would most likely be the best bet.

#2
Jolteon-Thunderbolt, Thunder Wave, Swift, Thunder
Snorlax-Strength, Body Slam, Blizzard, Psychic
Blastoise-Surf, Submission, Mega Punch, Hydro Pump
Nidoqueen-Bubblebeam, Rock Slide, Ice Beam, Horn Drill
Sandslash-Cut, Slash, Dig, Earthquake
Ninetales-Quick Attack, Flamethrower, Take Down, Fire Blast

Jolteon & Ninetails clean Lorelei's clock, Blastoise & Snorlax beat Bruno, Sandslash & Ninetails & Snorlax wipe the floor with Agatha, and Nidoqueen & Blastoise & Snorlax take out Lance. Nidoqueen, Snorlax, and Blastoise are probably the best bets for Gary.

If you want ideas for rentals, you're outta luck, decent rentals on this game are VERY limited.
