Well you could also compare it to Rumbling Terahorn.

I don't agree with Mauve, but I do think raising its cost by 1 or 2 would make it bit more balanced.

The difference between Crystal Memory can make or break certain deck types. Some players prefer the chance of having a Shield Trigger, and some prefer the "stick" (creature). I like this card--it seems balanced.
