{Surge} just starting the game so just kinda wondering what waters main strategies are? can it stand on it's own? what are the staple jutsu/missions? can it be successful? thanks for looking.

staple for water is vortex and water prison and the strat is basically to win i guess its the same as fire to win but water takes some time unlike fire

There are. You want the Vortex from Path. Water goes for raw power and relies heavy on it's Jonin. Chakra Drain is a decent strategy.
I've seen Water paired up well with Fire Intervention, Earth/First Hokage, and Lightning.

the end of demon, bingo book and appearance of unknown rivals are some of the missions that every water seems to be running

mono water doesnt seem strong enough. You should mix it with either lightning, earth or wind.

You are wrong. Mono-water is very strong if played well. Anyways, here is some help for mono-water info:

honestly I don't think that water can stand on it's own so my tip to you would be to mix it with something good... ((not gonna give away any trade secrets though))
