Well heres my first attempt at a war story hope you all like it, please let me know what i did wrong so the next one is better

Earlier on in the day during my journy i encountered him, we had done a match and it had taken it's toll on Starfire.
so i had been forced to head to the nearest town to visit the local pokecenter. with my pokemon taken care of i set out
to continue to the next gym, but right outside the city i ran into him again. I had lost to him and my pride had been pricked,
"I challenge you to a rematch" i declared. He seemed to consider for a min. then agreed informing me that he would be
giving his last team a rest and using a new one. i thought sure i can handle that so we went into a open field and began.
"go Starfire" i shouted as i chucked my pokeball, it cracked open and Swellow burst out into the air and circled around
till it settled down and landed on a bush a few feet in front of me
my oponent sent out Azelf and it hovered in front of him
i considered my options, if the azelf was choiced it might be faster, "lets play it safe and scout Starfire, use protect!"
Starfire covered it's face with it's wings and a shimmer appeared on them
Azelf used nasty plot, you could see it's scheming glint in it's eye all the way across the field as a power aura appeared
around him indicating dangerous special attack power
Starfire shook and ruffled it's feathers then looked kind of sickly, i hated poisoning it but it was necessary, i made it up to
her everyday by giving her the very best of chow and always praising her
well i knew the azelf wasn't choiced so now i felt safe enough leaving swellow out
"Starfire use Facade"
before any of us could blink my swellow had taken off across the field and started beating the azelf with it's wings so hard
you could see it perspiring from the effort
Azelf Fainted
Swellow loses 6% of its Hp from poison

he returned it with a word of how it had done good and sent out Electrode
Now that was trouble fast and supereffective, i knew it was hurt but thought it would be worth it, "Starfire return, Go Articuno"
It came forth with a loud shriek and spread it's wings in all their icy wonder
Electrode glowed for a min. then a mighty Thunderbolt shot from it and hit Articuno
Articuno shrieked in pain but seemed to take the blast
Articuno lost 46% of it's Hp
Electrode lost 6% of it's Hp from lifeorb?
Articuno regained 6% of it's Hp with leftovers
I knew i was being kinda cruel but i needed to get out something that could stop that electric ball without fainting, i'd make it
up to Articuno later "Articuno use U-turn"
across the field another bolt lashed out and hit Articuno
Articuno lost 46%of it's Hp
Electrode lost 6% of it's Hp from lifeorb?
in a well practiced maneuver Articuno sped across the field as i pulled out my next pokeball and chucked it before my next
pokemon broke free from the ball articuno struck electrode and came back into the ball I had ready in my other hand, out
came Blitzkrieg to the field in a ready stance
Electrode lost 38% Hp
Now if i could only set up lucario to live up to his name, "sword Dance now Blitz!". Another flash came from the Voltorb but this time it was different, the electricity struck Blitzkrieg and went over all his body but caused no damage (Thunder Wave), then i realised as he started his dance to loosen up, it was slower than usual. Paralyzed this was not good "hang in there Blitz" i yelled in encouragement. "now Extreme Speed!" but while i had been shouting my opponent had recalled his electrode and sent out a tauros, it pawed the ground but was unable to dodge as my Lucario became a blur and hurled across the field and struck the tauros.
Tauros lost 45% of it's Hp
hmm looks like that won't do enough well we're going to take a hit but this should work "Blitz use Close Combat" he moved to obey
but the electricity coursing through him slowed him down and the Tauros rammed the ground in front of it causing an earthquake
the earth jutted up around my lucario and pumelled it but i was ready for that
Lucario lost 99% of it's Hp
Lucario hung on using focus sash
Tauros lost 6% of its Hp from Life Orb?
Shaking off the atk lucario jumped over the ground and started wailing on the tauros so bad that he left himself wide open to later attacks

My opponent returned his Tauros and sent out Swampert. great another heavy weight i thought well i'm not letting Blitzkrieg go down
without doing a thing "extreme speed", once again Lucario took off and impacted the beast but it didn't seem to feel it too much. It
opened it's mouth and let out a waterfall of water from it's mouth throwing Blitzkrieg unconcious at my feet

"you did well" i tell Blitzkrieg as i return him, now for one of my newest members "go Sunset" out came my Leafeon to stand before
me in a protective stance. "lets get him Sunset, Leafblade" i commanded but Swampert was gone, recalled to be replaced by Crobat.
My leafeon sprang forward and jumped into the air into a sumersault that brought it's tail down hard onto the crobat but didn't seem
to phaze it
Crobat lost 8% of it's Hp
Now what, Sunset can't take on that thing and i don't really want to lose her, "come back Sunset you've done your part, now go Starmie"
Starmie came out in a sparkle of shinyness and waited for my command but i looked up and saw the crobat rushing toward me in a
familiar way, oh no! that's a U-turn! the crobat impacte with starmie and returned to it's owner and once again Swampert appeared on
the field
Crobat lost 6% of it's Hp from Life Orb?
Starmie lost 77% of it's Hp
Swampert regained 6% of it's Hp with Leftovers?
well that hurt i might regret this but "starmie use recover" Starmie glowed and then looked much better, meanwhile the Swampert spewed
another waterfall from it's mouth striking Starmie
Starmie Regained 68% of it's Hp
Starmie lost 32% of it's Hp
Swampert regained 6% of it's Hp with Leftovers?
Now to Strike back "Ice Beam!" a frozen beam shot from one of starmie's spikes and struck Swampert, causing it to shrink back then it
got up again and spewed forth more water

Swampert regained 6% of it's Hp with Leftovers?
well at this rate i'll take care of this no problem, "Starmie Recover" once again healing powers went to work,but the swampert was trying
something new it struck the ground and a EQ hit starmie

well thats no good guess i lose an attack dang it "once again starmie" starmie recovered again and the swampert spewed out another waterfall

aha that was his plan lull me into a false sense of security, well what should i do now i made my choice Starmie would have to take one for
the team, "Starmie attack!" yet another beam of ice struck Swampert to be retaliated with a EQ

this was getting out of hand should i send out Sunset again? no that crobat was still running loose so "Go Raven" out came the terror that
was known as my gengar it cast a shadow on the field. "now use hypnosis Raven" gengars eye's glowed and a hypnotic stare was
directed at swampert making his eyelids grow heavy and put him to sleep. swampert was now on the field curled up comfortably and
dozing his troubles away

now for some protection, "Raven substitute" a part of gengar sprang off and turned into a little gengar about 1/4 his size with one purpose
and one purpose alone=protect it's creator. the swampert was recalled and that blasted crobat returned
Gengar lost 25% of its Hp
Gengar gained 6% Hp from it's Black Sludge
now what that crobats dangerous better take the risk "Raven use Thunderbolt!" the crobat used it's U-turn again and the substitute blocked
the atk absorbing the damage, crobat was gone to be replaced by what i feared, the resting swampert, Raven let out bolts of electricity from
it's fingertips but they were absorbed harmlessly by the Swampert

Gengar gained 6% Hp from it's Black Sludge
Swampert regained 6% of it's Hp with Leftovers?
well maybe it won't hurt but i can't risk another bolt so "Shadowball!" once again swampert was withdrawn and crobat took the attack right
in the face doing much more damage than i thought, stupid me not trying that in the first place

Gengar gained 6% Hp from it's Black Sludge
well here comes the loss of my substitute but not if i can help it Raven another substitute!" crobat did just as i predicted and U-turned but
the surprise was that the substitute blocked and once again survived, what the, it lived! out came swampert and Raven tryed to make a
substitute but he couldn't control more than one so he tried but nothing happened

well time to take out the sleeping beauty, i use the word beauty loosely. anyway i shout for a shadow ball and it hits the swampert but
maybe a little too hard cause it wakes up and hears it's masters order and hits with a waterfall destroying the substitiute

now what deciding that hypnosis was too risky i decide to finish that thing off, "shadowball!" Raven Lets loose with another plasma
ball it formed in it's hands and shot across the field and threw the swampert back in a dead faint, returning the swampert to its ball
and sent out electrode.

maybe Sunset can take that out but i can't just switch so "Raven return, go Articuno" as expected my poor
Articuno flew right into another Thunderbolt. and it fell unconscious

i whispered an apology and returned it, "go Sunset, let's try an
X-scissor Sunset, maybe that will hurt that crobat if he switches" but before he could do anything the electrode shot out a bolt so
powerful Sunset was knocked out cold.

well heres my last effort "go Raven, try for a Shadow Ball!" as the electrode let out another
bolt that struck Raven i had a sinking feeling as my gengar flew back and landed hard but to my surprise and delight gengar pushed
himself up with one hand and hurled the Shadowball he was holding in his other hand at the electrode, causing it to power down
Gengar lost 90% of its Hp
Electrode lost 6% Hp from Life Orb?

now he sent out the one pokemon i hadn't seen yet, a sceptile. I hadn't seen much about those but the giant leaf lizard did look imposing.
sure of my speed i ordered a hypnosis from Raven but to my surprise the great lizard shot forward and with a fist full of electricity knocked
Raven out (Thunder Punch), holy cow how fast is that!

now for my only hope, "go Starfire". Could she do it i wasn't sure, i was thinking that lizard was
choiced and was very worried i considered calling off the fight to save Starfire the pain but decided to trust her. "Starfire Facade!"
Starfire shot across the field so fast the Sceptile never even had time to think, the wings beat against it and it succombed to
unconciousness

now he sent out crobat, i new it was faster once again i considered throwing in the towel but i looked at Starfire and saw a fire in it's eyes
that said she wasn't done yet, so i ordered the charge, crobats eyes glowed and suddenly swellow seemed to lose focus (Confuse Ray), oh no it was
confused! this was bad i grabbed swellow and looked it in the eyes, they seemed to be wandering everywhere unable to focus. i
whispered to it "i believe in you" and released it to do it's attack. it flew across the field slower than before and curving up and down i
felt regret as i saw it start to dive towards the ground sure to be a hard impact but at the last moment it suddenly curved straight up!
All of us suddenly breathed in as it swooped up and collided with the crobat! the bat flew back and was caught by it's owner,he
whispered something i couldn't hear to it's unconcious form and returned it to it's ball.

I won, i did it "wait to go Starfire you did it!" i screamed and it flew to me, it would have been a great thing us rushing to eachother if it
weren't for Starfire still being dizzy, it hit me like a brick and I fell to the ground winded, but i was so happy i just laughed after i got back
my breath and hugged swellow. My opponent approached me and offered his hand to help me up "Good Job, maybe we'll battle again
till then see ya" and he walked off as i called "you can count on it" and i returned Starfire to its pokeball and turned back to town, after all
my pokemon did well time to give them their well earned rest and relaxation. i'll continue to the next gym tomorrow i decided no need to
rush.
