This is the team thread for us, Team Abyss. We are a team based out of Northern California, Butte County to be more specific. This thread is for our members to post on, or anyone who wants to comment on our team. We will be trying to make it to some bigger events for Naruto but without transportation it's hard to do. We are currently a smaller team but are looking for more members within the area. Now before the posting starts, if anyone flames us you will be dealt with appropriately.

Anyone wishing to join the team must live within the general areas. We are a local team with a branch in the Chico area of California as well as the Orlando/Daytona Beach area of Florida. For anyone who does live in the area (as unlikely as it might be) we all play at Sport's Play in the Chico mall on Saturdays.

Some of the coding on your sig is screwed up. On the Pojo iTrade link you need to put the center code around the whole entire link, or else you will be able to click on the outside edges of the link where it's blank.

No problem, I had some problems like that a couple of times I had images in my sig and eventually figured out how to fix it.

Too bad you can't do more with the signatures. It's limited to only a few options. I wish you could add text inside the image making only the text a link,kind of pointless,but funny.

Okay you guys true story,true story: My kitty cat named Oliver was all up in my stuff like a ninja. Michael and I were consuming our Yummmmy chicken when out of nowhere oliver flying on top of the plate,scarying the **** out of my and michael.... so i kick mr/oliver out of my room. he comes back in so i close my door after throwing him outside agian and he appearred out a nowhere. so i kicked him outside and he appeared agian. then i got all pissed,right? so i picked him up,threw him outside.... thats the end of my kitty story and the last 6-7 posts have been spam,sorry pojo for my shoddy performence,and sorry patrick.

Finally got a hold of Yas so that we could give him his christmas present. DON'T EVER ASK HIM FOR DIRECTIONS EVER IN LIFE. I'm pretty sure he gave us a fake address because he thought we were going to egg his house. It didn't exist on Mapquest or Google Maps.

When we got in the general area we kept asking yas for directions to his house and he didn't know any street names. I mean telling me to look for an elementary school and a yellow terminex truck in the middle of the night is not the best strategy for giving directions. We finally made it to his neighborhood after yelling on the phone back and forth for a good 10 minutes or so...and he was waiting outside as we came down the street. He saw us before we saw him so Randy turned on the high beams and temporarily blinded him and his baby brother. Then his brother starts calling for mommy because he thought his mom just came home. Yasmin yelled at him and said "It's not mom" his brother started crying, you could hear it all the way down the street as he carried him back into the house, kicking and screaming.

Then we gave him his present which I wrapped about 4 times. He got to third wrapper which was a cocoa box. So he thought we got him cocoa and told his brother, "We're going to have cocoa." Which turned out to be another disappointment for his brother. No cocoa, no mom. His brother learned a valuable lesson today; Yas is full of disappointment.

Chuunin tournaments are bigger tournaments with more people and they give you a better player ranking when you do good in them.

Jonin's are few and far between and they are the biggest non-invite tournament you can enter. Doing good in those generally means you are some of the best in the game.

You can go to the Naruto Gamer's Round Table website. I don't remember the site off hand but a quick Google search should give you more information.

Yeah, right now we just do local tournaments, otherwise known as Academy level. They raise your rank a little and are just your basic weekly tournaments. We are going to be doing a couple more higher level tournaments (nothing Chuunin high) and if we do get enough attendance, I will apply for a Chuunin at our location.

We aren't looking for new members. Inner Sakura was recently accepted and Rock Lee 21 is pending. Besides them, our team has been unchanged since it was founded. (except for one member who recently quit)

There's really not much difference in being on the team or not being on the team unless you're local. When we go to out of town events we try to organize it so we can go with 3 or 4 team members.

We try to help out anyone who is starting out, teammate or not. We're more interested in having more people participate in tournaments in general.

I just got back into the game recently (a couple months ago) with the release of Eternal Rivalry.

In terms of deck type, I'm a jack-of-all-trades-with-a-low-budget-but-I-make-due.
As of now, I'm running two decks:
-A Wind/Earth Mental Power deck
-A mono-Fire Animal deck which I refer to as "Dog Rush"

MPB isn't doing as great as I had hoped. Still, I enjoy it. As for Dog Rush...it smashes face. =]

I've been looking it all up on GRT; I used to go there all the time for UFS. So far, I've found nothing, but it updates every day, so I'll keep checking up as much as I can. Until, all I can do is hone my skills and try to get it local again.

Yeah, it's hard to find Jonins and Chuunins. I think the nearest ones to us are in San Francisco and the bay area which is about 3 hours away. There might be some in Sacramento though, I haven't checked.

I found out where the early year Chuunin tournaments are going to be. It's on the official Bandai site. There's going to be one in Coral Springs, Florida.
I won't be attending; Coral Springs is 3 and 1/2 hours away from me. Sorry, but I ain't going to that ****. If I can find one closer, sure. But not 3 1/2 hours away.

I'm still going to try to make the Battle of Destiny release tournament, but I have no idea if I can. I mean, it's on the 26th and I don't know if I'll have my money by then. If I don't, then I'll head to a random Genin or Academy tournament in February. Still requires a trip to Orlando, but I don't mind.

The first Meijin mat is alright (it was given out before I became one) but it's the old style of mats that are really thick and bulky.

I like the deckbox, I have been wanting to get an Akatsuki one eventually.

Walking on Water training seems good on paper, but it requires Water Chakra to use and nine times out of ten I'd just charge it to seal instead of using it. My water slots are better reserved for Jirobos.

Speaking of which, I need a set of State ones. Who wants to part with them? I have a third, a fourth, and a Kabuto going to waste in my binder.
