I think there some real screw up with the printing of this set, my first box i got no super rare and ultimate but i did get.............. 7 ultra rares and 1 secret rare2 Enishi, 2 Tiger, 1 evil hero lighting golem,1 evil hero inferno wing, and 1 of the trap card dont remember the name, the secret rare was dragon ice. The second box was ok i pull couple of the clouds, 1 enishi, Royal Firestorm Guards, and the misprinted Elemental Hero Chaos Neos ghost rare.

From what I've see on another thread, secret rares are basically one per box. Can anyone else confirm or deny this? We all know that Upperdeck promised an increase in the ratio (by at least 30%) but it has yet to be confirmed what the ratio actually is. To simplify the question: If you bought a box, did or didn't you pull a secret rare?

I have concluded, the Secret Rare ratio for GLAS is 1:24. By 30% I think they mean 33%(a third). So if the previous Secret ratio is 1:36(I don't think it was ever 1:48) then this new ratio is 1:24.

I opened a case (12 boxes). I got 10 SCRs, not including the Ghost. That would put the SCRs at about 1:28. Also, the Ghost replaced a UR in the box.

I have concluded, the Secret Rare ratio for GLAS is 1:24. By 30% I think they mean 33%(a third). So if the previous Secret ratio is 1:36(I don't think it was ever 1:48) then this new ratio is 1:24.

is it confirm that UDE is making it 30% easier to get secrets? Naruto did that to their super rares and the game is kinda picking up again. still not as big as its initial base though.

Also, I have checked out all the Necroface auctions on ebay, and I believe that only 2 completed auctions and one current one is legit. Out of the 20+ total Necroface auctions in the US, 17 are total BS!

I was the one who won the first auction. 223 american dollars for it, kinda alot, but I'm going to run the mill version at a jump once we get torture golem so it's worth it for me. Besides, the other completed auction was a buy it now and the guy posting it had no idea how much it was worth. Pulling a face is going to be godly for whoever does it.

Meant to ask earlier, but has anyone found anything unusual with some of the cards? In some of the packs from my box, the flavor text on the back 4 cards (behind the Rare/holo) looked faded/smudged. Probably an error made in production, and I doubt it would mean a change in value.

it isn't gurantee that it is a secret in every box...from what i've seen so far, there will be 1 box without Secret out of the case...also, it's been said that necroface comes every 2 cases...i wouldn't be surprise if the ratio is worse then that, seeing how ude don't like otk decks very much...especially the deck out kind. look at what happen to exchange of spirit, it wasn't even out for a month and it got banned. for those of you saying that otk wouldn't be complete without torture golem, i say there are other ways to get 3k damage, and making the otk still viable...

The kid whooped me in the 4 matches we played. I was totally shocked at how good they performed (granted little play testing only).

here's a hint at how he did it... mother grizzle into nimbus...ram that one cloud into one of my strongest monsters and it give nimbus a bunch of tokens and GAME

No. I'm the one that lost. I was playing glad beast and a choas necrofear deck vs it. I simply mean the deck is good because that nimbus monster pumps so high so fast.

And sure...you can smash, fissure, soul exchange etc that nimbus monster...but he can get more out fast and/or from grave. So it was impressive imo.

Average seems to be one per box....but it seems you CAN buy a box that does not contain a secret.

So a good estimate would be one in 28-30 packs.

Went to my local tonight. They had 4 boxes.. i bought 4 packs from a fresh box.. got 3 rares and Cloudian Eye of Typhoon.. UGGGHHH.. the rich guy then bought the rest of the box and got Elemental Hero Chaos Neos and Enishi. Next box a tongue twister was pulled. Then after winning the local I got 4 packs from a fresh box... pulled test tiger and Cloudian Sheep Cloud. 2nd place got 2 more supers from his 3 packs. So there is probably still another secret in the 3rd box.. and the 4th box is still unopened. Also a guy at the local got the Plasma Vice secret in a pack at the other local card shop.

Relax bud...give it a week. You'll see a normal secret will run for just a hair over 30 bucks.

I put my 2 secrets on ebay to sell tonight because i KNOW how easy they are to pull. I am certain i can replace my dragon ice in less than a week for very little (trade most likely).

So just hang in there and you will get your magic card for fair value.

I tested it just on my floor without even completing it - I severely underestimated Nimbusman. That guy with Ghost Fog, Squall, etc... it's amazing. And Eye of the Typhoon's ridiculously easy to summon.

I will have to find some extra Grizzlies.

Overall Grade - B-minus. A box with only seven holographic cards is definitely on the thin side. What seven there were, though, could not have been improved much, which pulls the grade up. A downtick for a repetition in the rare ranks, which I don't like now that there are more different rare cards in a set than there will be packs containing them in a box.

Today there was a craft fair at my school today, and this card vendor i know was there. He had 2 boxes of GLAS. He was charging 3.50 or 3/$10. Since I'm a good customer he only charged me $2.50. There was only 2 packs taken from the box when he arrived. I saw every pack get open from that box except those 2 and 1 more. No secrets, 1 Ultimate, 2 Ultras, and a ton of supers. I bought most of the packs. Then he opened the second box, one kid bought a pack and I didn't see what was pulled. I was out of cash but my friend gave me $2.50 for one more pack, I take one from the middle, and it was Chaos Neos. That made my day!

I hate UDE, I really do. At my local hobby store, so far combined my friends and I have opened over two and a half cases (33 boxes). So far these are the SCRs that have been pulled:

Notice a "slight" imbalance of SCRs? Oh glorious joy, 19/27 SCRs are one of three fusion monsters, two of which are horrible and one of which was just released in a tin. Very low amounts of the cool new UDE exclusive cards, and absolutely no Shueisha cards in almost three cases. Not even a bloody Gil Garth.

The pull ratio for one of those three fusion monsters seems to be about 70%, while the pull ratio for any of the other 12 secret rares is only 30%. I'm assuming it's just horrible luck that there hasn't been a Shueisha card pulled in my area, and that they're not actually rarer than the UDE exclusives.

In fact, in my ten boxes I pulled:

Don't buy GLAS boxes. They're not worth it. SAVE your money for the next set, it's amazing.

This set is good but its not the money maker like the next set is going to be worth.

GLAS is meh. It's only really worth buying for the secrets. Bar the massively-overhyped Enishi, and the aforementioned secrets, everything can be gotten fairly cheaply in singles anyway.

PTDN is far superior. Unless the amount of secrets is upped to 20, and everything half-decent in the set is made secret.

Well today my dad took me and my friend to China Town and found a store that had packs, a few singles, and some crappy toys. Right in the window was Enishi and Skreech, along with some other cards not worth mentioning. I asked Skreech's price and it was $15, so i got it. =D

Some guy at our Pharaoh Tour Qualifier yesterday pulled a Necroface from one pack. My mate brought it off him. Then I brought it off my mate.

The guy who pulled it then went to buy a box with the money he got for it. He got absolute crap.

I'm getting my 3 boxes probably tomorrow. So hopefully I get something good.

Freezer Trick: When you put packs in the freezer for 10 minutes and the ones with holos bend a bit, only good for scams.

The only time it's actually been this bad was at a time a regionals where I bought 20 packs of IOC and didn't get anything above a rare. The manager swears that they weren't scaled. Yeah right. I'm about as saddened as that day, but I did get a secret (rolls eyes). Why wasn't it Ice Dragon?

When you open 10 boxes and pull 6 Heraklinos, 1 Chaos Neos and a Plasma Vice as your SCRs in addition with no Enishi, then you may complain about your pulls.

Feel lucky, your four packs were better than all of my ten boxes.

I entered both on saturday and sunday to the sneak preview (in latin america it got delayed ´till this weekend) and won first place in both days; for prize i got like 2 boxes in total and 2 shirts :p.

pack one: Daimond dust cyclone (I hate this card)
pack two: super rare cloudian eye of the typhoon (rather have pulled sheep cloud)
pack three: Gladiator beast torax super rare (getting better)
pack four: some rare GB spell card (uhhh)
pack five: exil hero malicious edge (this made it worth the trip:))
pack six: junk rare
pack seven: goblin opps thing rare (oh well)

3 supers out of seven arent bad.:)
