I walked into the stadium. It was the first day of the Sinnoh Pokemon League and I would be fighting a man named Ithilien. Little was known about this man and the Pokemon he carried, however, I was sure that I could win.... as long as Cynthia didn't trade him her Garchomp.
I approached the platform where the battle would take place. My opponent was yet to be seen. Suddenly, a huge shadow swept over the stadium and my opponent descended, riding on the back of a Salamence. He took his place opposite of me, his Salamence roaring, waiting for me to send out my first Pokemon.

I should've switched to my Ursaring instead, knowing that the chances of Bronzong using Hypnosis were high. My Ursaring is a Sleep Talk variant with Guts and thus, would've been able to inflict a fair amount of damage against his team.

About time my Torterra woke up. I was able to land a Leech Seeed too, which would help Azumarill return. I also noticed that Ithilien's Empoleon did not have Leftovers. It was either a Choice Specs or Choice Scarf variant, I was leaning towards Scarf.

I Night Slashed the giant bell and managed to hit a critical area. Bronzong fell, never to Hypnosis one of my Pokemon again. Some may say that Weavile was lucky, however, when you manage to get it from a 30% effect, have not gotten another critical in the battle, and have had Torterra sleep for 3-4 turns in a row it wasn't as haxxy as it could've been.

I Night Slashed the giant bell and managed to hit a critical area. Bronzong fell, never to Hypnosis one of my Pokemon again. Some may say that Weavile was lucky, however, when you manage to get it from a 30% effect, have not gotten another critical in the battle, and have had Torterra sleep for 3-4 turns in a row it wasn't as haxxy as it could've been.
