whats the cost for xavier's dream?

and is that good and how many of u used and won the game with it?

i feel like putting this in

but i hafta get u guys' opinion first

It's not a card you just "put in"

You build a deck around it, and PRAY it works.

Think about it.

Turn 5 it comes out.

MAYBE turn 8 you can win with it.

That means NO stunning on either side for three turns AFTER turn 5, when EVERYBODY has to have hit a drop somewhere along the line, or the game was already over anyway.

Not worth it.

Toilet paper? Maybe. The stuff that goes on the toilet paper? Definitely.

The Only way I see this card really working is in stall, such as the Great Balls of Fire build by Q. You would just stall, then using beast and latveria along with either doomstadt or Kristoff you can activate Xavier's dream turn 3. Even then, I only see it working like 10% of the time, as you would need excellent draws to keep there from being any stunned characters.

Anything that cleans the field of stunned characters. Toad and Swift Escape are just two examples of cards like that. Also, cards that outright prevent the stun in the first place, like Kevlar.

If i were playing an Xavier's Dream deck, I'd build it around Jean Grey Phoenix Force. If you can somehow infinitely bounce her back to your hand on turns 8-10 you could win with Xavier's Dream. It'll involve Dazzler and Entangles and the like. You might try an Doom/X-Men combination for Reign of Terror and Mystical Paralysis for added stall.

Beast lets you drop it a turn earlier.
Puppetmaster exhausts.
Dazzler Exhausts. Xavier School lets you use Dazzler 2x a turn.
Rogue, Power absorber copies puppetmaster to exhaust.
Rogue, Powerhouse Ko's them, leaving nobody stunned.
Children of the Atom lets you recover a stunned Xman.
Storm prevents flight, protecting Dazzler or Puppetmaster.

The main problem is the discard cost:
Dazzler, Children of the atom, and Dream all have discard cost.

Also, 8 Drop Magneto exhausts everybody.

don't forget Swift Escape, as you can just bounce any of your stunned characters.

It can be done, but it's not easy. not really something I'd take up trying.
