6 New Promo Cards

I read that you have to send in to get the 6 new promo cards.

What does it mean by foil booster packs?

Bandai just wants the UPC Barcodes for you to send in, in order to get the Promo cards. All the packs are shiny.

normal boosters are "foil", the wrap isn't made out of paper, that's simply why they call it foil

and just a note, the blue Promo redemtion paper requires 3 STARTER upc barcords instead of 12 booster wrapper. haha, i've noticed that yesterday when I wanted to send out.

Well, when you think about it 3 Starter decks are cheaper than 12 booster packs. I find that weird though.

Thanx for letting me know. Also, I haven't gotten the Quest for Power packs yet, but do the order forms come in the pack like the Eternal Rivalry or do you have to print it on the website?

yep, the red one that requires 12 booster upc bar code do come in the pack just like eternal rivalry, the blue paper can be found in new starters.

The First Hokage: it might be a little cheaper, but i don't really see the point of buying 4328490x starters.. which is why I find collecting 3x starter bar code harder (i know i'm gonna try to get a playset of promo, which mean 9 starter...)

what do you mean? that you got the 3x same cards or the same 3x cards as the Eternal Rivalry's wrapper's promo?

We went to our local card shop's QFP launch event where the fee to participate included a starter set (randomly distributed) and random packs of the new QFP. We simply collected the starter box UPC codes from those who did not want to bother with the effort. And, of course we retained the UPC codes from the packs from our boxes. We should be getting our promo card supply from Bandai, soon. All of us tried to read the card text of the promo cards. They do not look as though they will be as good as the Ino Shika Cho promo cards from ER. Let's hope Bandai does a better job of packaging them instead and sends them inside of sleeves.

oh, that's cool, could you post the promo's effect whenever you get them if that doesn't bother you? that would be awesome!

i'm so intrigued with the Sasuke Promo coming with the Blue-Paper; he looks really great while only looking at the little part of text you can figure out

the ones from the red-paper doesn't look very good

I can't get any of those Promo except by trading... the new Redemption Promos are still Canada but "excluding Quebec"... :(

lol @ Neji in the starter promo, it says Mal instead of Male, Mal meaning evil or bad in french :)

Excellent, so I should be getting the ones I sent this week. I sent in nine redemptions, lol; 4 starter, 3 of the old booster redemptions, and 2 of the new booster redemptions.

<--- Meijin who hosted QfP Launch. I had an enormous launch event (32 players); I told everyone about the redemptions, and most of the participants still threw away their boxes and wrappers. So I just collected them all as I went around with the garbage. If they continue doing redemptions per set, I'm gonna love every single launch event from here on out, lol.
