Eligibility and Invitations:
Competitors must reside in the State where they wish to participate in the State Championship. They must provide proof of residency during registration at the tournament.
The following items will be accepted as proof of residence:
• Driver’s license or State/Province/ photo ID
• School photo ID from an in-State/Province institution
• Phone, electric, or other utility bill with an in-State/Province mailing address
Time:
Registration is from 8:00 AM to 9:50 AM. Tournament begins at 10:00 AM promptly.
Registration closes ten minutes before the event is scheduled to start. Any player who wants to enroll after registration has closed will be able to do so, but will receive a round one match loss. Players arriving after round two has been paired will not be able to enroll in the tournament.
Entry Fee:
$25.00 - Credit cards are not accepted at the event site. Anyone wishing to use a credit card to pay for their tournament entry must preregister. Please remember that preregistration closes on the Thursday before the event at 9:00 AM.

DCI Sanctioned Standard. The Standard format will consist of the following Magic: The Gathering expansions: 10th Edition™, Lorwyn™, Time Spiral™, Planar Chaos™, Future Sight™, and Coldsnap™. K-Value 24, Regular REL.
Prizes:
•Special frame participation promotional card for all attendees *while supplies last*
• Special frame Top 8 foil promotional card for the Top 8 players.
• 2007 Standard State Championship playmats for the Top 8 players
• Plaque for the State Champion
• Booster packs prizes based on attendance.
Side Events
We will be running eight player single elimination booster drafts (prize payout 5/3/2/2) and constructed tournaments (prize payout one box). Both the booster draft and constructed tournaments cost $13.00 to enter.
Trading:
While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling cards with anyone except for our authorized dealer(s), or soliciting to do so elsewhere, is strictly forbidden at this event. Failure to obey this rule may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the event without refund, and banned from attending future events.
Star City Events also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock
