Hey everybody it's LightPollution, better known on AIM as icepig2020. What I've decided to do is to hold an AIM tournament, but not just any AIM tournament. For this one I want you to have your own impact to make it unique and to make it something that you wouldn't be able to do in a tournament in real life. I want you to help decide a special "this-tournament-only" banlist. Here's how this is going to work.
If you see this thread and want to join the tournament, please register on this thread. When you reply to this thread put your Pojo name and your AIM screen name. Then, send me a PM with your "dream banlist". Once I have 7 people signed up for the tournament (not counting me), I will pick, what I see as the funnist banlist we could use. I will not create a banlist.
Now, as for the banlist you submit. I don't want it to be typical "ban Snatch" and that's it. I want the list for this tournament to be unique and fun. I want the banlist to bring back cards that probably won't come back for a while in the actual format. For example you could bring back Fiber Jar. But if you brought back a completely broken card, make sure you also give it plenty of counters, for example putting NoC to 2 or 3. That's just an example. I'm looking for a list that will be fun. For your list, give other deck-types a chance. Bring back Chaos Sorcerer or whatever, give some dead decks some fuel so that we can play with them again.
The list that I decide we will use will be posted here after I get them all submitted and I have read through them all.
By all means, use proxies. Go ahead and make your own Crush Card. This is for fun, which is why there will be no prizes/donations, etc. No OCG cards please, also. Don't ask.
Other than that I'm looking for 7 more people to join. Have fun and I hope to see a lot of people eager for it. If your banlist doesn't get chosen, oh well. If all goes well with this tournament, I will have another one soon. Make sure that you're on AIM a lot, because you will have only 4 days to complete a match. If I am on AIM when you are ready to duel your opponent, I'd like to watch but it's not necessary. When the match is done, both people please send a PM and post on the thread.
