Missingno, an intersting pokemon to say the very least. This pokemon appears at many different levels. While some believe it causes their game to mess up, others argue the fact that #M# is actually the one responsible for mishaps. If anyone has a question regarding Missingno I'll answer within no time at all because I've done some research on this pokemon. For example, its types are normal and bird; if you have a handbook, guidebook for a pokemon game, or know the types well enough, you would know that bird is a characteristic, not a type.

It's nice that they can evolve to a 'Skhan that can use water & flying moves.

well. since Missingno is what happens when the game doesnt recognize what you're fighting (that is, something outside of the pokedex) and pulls data from other places. "Bird" was probably the original name for the Flying-type in the beta versons of the game. It was floating around in the data somewhere and that's where Missingno got it from.

Several times, I'd throw a Masterball to catch a lv172 Missingno. and it would pop out. I throw another Masterball and caught it. Then when I checked it's stats, it turned to a LV1 Kangaskhan with 2 Sky Attacks and Water Gun. Or sometimes it transforms into a LV1 Ditto. But I'd mainly use Missingno. to get infinite Masterballs, Rare Candies, and encounter Lv120+ pokemon such as:
Snorlax, Alakazam, Electrode, Raichu, Chansey, Golem, Lapras and some more.

woah this is strange. i havnt heard of this glitch yet but here goes. My friend just now caught missingo. Weve been looking at its effects on a saved game after catching it andthis is what happened.
Part1. All pokemon in the STorage box became Pikachu's. or at least we think so. the icon representing the pokemon was actually a human icon (like the ones taht confront you and lba bla)
Part 2. It was level ### (WTF?)
Part3. Save file erased
to be honest the pikachi thing was wierd.

I caught a missingno on blue (before it broke) and gave it one rare candy. It turned into a Kangashang. I caught another missingno and it did the same, so I released it. I think all the missingno with sky attack, sky attack, water gun as their attacks evolve into Kangashang with rare candies.
I also caught a Marowak that was over lv100 (150 or something). I didn't mind about my Elite Four file being messed up - it isn't important to be once I beat them the first time.
I have seen #m# that are lv0 (in fact, the only #m# I saw were lv0). And I think once I saw a trainer to fight, but I either ran or defeated it. Wonder what it would've been like had I trained it....
