i know the scanner is on the abandoned ship,but how do i get to it,there are some kind of blockade in my way and i can't go left or right,i tried using my bike to jump over them that did not work,i'm stumped? please help.

Did you go to the part where you dive? Then you have to enter these 6 rooms with keys in them, etc..
