What exactly does the Max PP button do?

Would it make it unfair for competetive play?

it maxes out the pp of all the pokemons moves.

It is not unfair at all, it is the same as just using PP Ups.

To the maximum possible pp it can have. It depends on the move, if you max pp, on, lets say leer and thunderbolt, leer might have 40+ pp after and thunderbolt might have 16 or something. i dont know the exact values, but thats how it works. I wouldnt wory about it really. I just max all of mine.
