ubers in wifi

let the rant begin... i want to know how much of a self esteem boost do you really need to take an all uber team into a random wifi battle. it pisses me off to no end when every two or three battles i face a team of all ubers. i do manage to win most of these battles(some by just sc****** by and with a little luck like freezing my opponents kyogre with ice beam when it switched in), which tells you everything you need to know about the other trainers but i mean really do you have to go anonymously into a battle with a team of nothing but ubers to make yourself feel better... sorry if you are one of these people, bash me in return if you like but this is just the way i feel. end rant.

it really ticks me off, cause i never use ubers.

Tyranitar (crunch to beat lugia and mew)
Empoleon (To beat ho-oh and infernape)
Mewtwo
Dragonite or Dialga not sure

but his ho-oh used sunny day then solar beam on empoleon and i died but beat his ho-oh with mewtwo and beat his lugia and mew with crunch and earthquake from tyranitar tro beat infernape and won


But sadly ive lost once to a team with these

Glacion

I sent out

Empoleon ( Died from tyranitar earthquakes)
Tyranitar (i was using earthequake to kill his dialga and infernape)
Dialga (died from blizzard and lowered glacion into low red)
Giratina (killed heracross using shadow force and died from blizzard)

And i lost

Sometimes, you have to understand that not everyone playing the game and battling over WiFi is a competitive battler, so many people might not even be aware that the Pokemon they are using are considered Uber and unfair. Many probably just think to put their strongest Pokemon together and fight with them just like against the E4 or their friends or whatever.

I'm not defending those that use Ubers, because either way it's unfair, just giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Don't blame them, blame Nintendo. There should be an option to play with or without legendaries. If you choose without, you'll only be matched up with people who don't use them. But people who wanted to use them still could. That's how they should have done it.

I don't think that there's anything wrong with people using ubers, but I agree that people who don't want to shouldn't be forced to go against them.

How did you play against somebody using Darkrai and Arceus? It doesn't let you take them online, as far I know.

Don't blame them, blame Nintendo. There should be an option to play with or without legendaries. If you choose without, you'll only be matched up with people who don't use them. But people who wanted to use them still could. That's how they should have done it.

moltres is tier 2 (or was anyway, havn't played compeditively since...2 months before D/P came out) and its a legandary :P

I know that, but they can't ban ubers because a lot of times people don't know what's considered uber until after the game has been out a while. Also, Nintendo doesn't have any official list of uber Pokemon. The "uber Pokemon" are decided by the players and are not officially recognized by the creators of the game.

What they could do is give you the option to play without legendaries and that would ban most of them.

I really don't care either way. I get more annoyed by the "competitive players" thinking they should be able to go online and force their rules on everybody else than I am by people using uber Pokemon. It reminds me of the people who whine about snaking in Mario Kart DS.

i like using maybe one or two ubers just to keep up with thjese people. but when i take a new team of pokemon to test out on wi fi i get smashed on because some little kid has 2 dialga's, a darkrai and some other almost unbeatable pokemon

I don't like going against Ubers when I use my normal pokemon. So then I decide to use an uber team to counter those damn ubers, and I get paired with normal pokemon teams. Its soooo annoying cause then I feel bad. lol
