WTF? Why can't I get online?!!!

I just tried to get online with the same team I've been using since the day the game came out and it keeps saying "There are Pokemon that are not allowed in this battle set to the Battle Pass." WTF? I've been using this exact same team and I haven't had any problems until just now. I tried getting on on every colloseum and they all say the same thing.

nintendo has banned legendaries form random battles

Well that's pretty stupid. What they should do is give you an option of legendary or non-legendary random battles. So if you don't want to play with legendaries you can choose to be matched up against someone who doesn't use them, but the people who want to use legendaries in random battles still can.
