Umbreon/Espeon working together

My idea for a great 2v2 Team (just the leading 2)

Espeon@Lum

Synchronize
252 Speed, 160 Defense, 98 Special Defense

Psychic
Morning Sun

They work together to target the foe for status conditions, synchronize on both means any status conditions thrown at them are shot back, and in espeons case he can heal himself of it (so basically the opponent attacked himself) annoyer/recovery idea. Keep them poisoned and confused, Espeon can psychic in the mean time, and for those annoyers with things like dragon dance, double-team, calm mind, etc. Espeon copies them in no time with psych up.

The rest of my 2v2 team is coming soon!!!!

EDIT-after some research i discovered that Espeon's Special Defense is much better than his Defense, so i changed his EVs a little bit

I dont think it will work. I've seen better. EX:

Crobat used Poisonpowder on Partner Swellow(guts). Swellow used facade.

Psych Up works for all Pokemon on 2 vs 2. If one of your pokemon uses Bell Drum, then other one can use Psych UP, and get a huge attack power without even sacrificing it's HP.

Problem with this team
One Pokemon will die very fast. If your only attack is Psychic on Espeon, Tyranitar will Reck it. Don't forget about Metagross to with it's HIGH attack, and resistant to Psychic attacks. Plus Poison. You should use Xatu, and Umbreon. That way, if they bring a Fighting type, Xatu's type advanage can reck it.

i see what you are saying with Metagross...but how often to do u seriously see him on a team?

a fighting pokemon is no prob with psychic

regardless, i still want to give it a try, if it doesnt work i'll get another strategy going for my leadoff 2, (i have the whole 6 pokemon team listed up on here)
