What British actors/actresses would you like to see in HBP?

So since the film version of Order of The Phoenix is coming out very soon,and they've begun scouting locations for HBP,I was wondering which actors/actresses you folks would like to see in Half-Blood Prince.


I heard a rumor that Naomi Watts was being considered for Narcissa Malfoy..


I'd love to see Bill Nighy,Peter O'Toole,and Bob Hoskins in roles.

Bob Hoskins would make a good Prof.Slughorn,I think.

I remember that Entertainment Weekly had an article about this a while back.
They had pretty good choices,I think.

I want to see Derek Jacobi in a role. Maybe as Marvolo Gaunt or something. I think Kate Winslett would be a better Narcissa Malfoy than Naomi Watts. Maybe Colin Firth could play voldemorts daddy or something. I wouldn't mind seeing hoskins as slughorn either.

Well, concerning Bob Hoskins, he was interviewed on 'Friday Night With Jonathon Ross' in the UK, during an episode where J.K. Rowling was also being interviewed about Film 5 and Book 7. Hoskins said that he would be very interested in playing a role in any upcoming Harry Potter film, and Rowling said that she had a new role in Book 7, that she thought he'd be perfect for. I don't fully remember his description, but maybe he could be good to play Xenophilius Lovegood, or maybe Fleur's dad? He really does sound like Fleur's dad. Although, Slughorn would be a good role for him too.

I'd love for David Tennant to have played a more long-term role, or for Barty Crouch Jr. to appear in some shape or form in Book 7 (how he could do that without a soul, I don't know, but still...). But, in-keeping witht he Doctor Who theme, perhaps Christopher Eccleston or John Simm? I reckon one of them would be good for one of the Death Eaters (say Yaxley for example), or perhaps Mundungus Fletcher, if they decide to include him in the films (despite leaving him out of Order of the Phoenix).

I can't really see Mr.Hoskins with a French accent,good actor though he is.

It has been confirmed that Naomi watts has been cast as Narccissa Malfoy.

Also, Joseph Fiennes(Ralphs brother) and Stuart Townsend have been cast in HBP aswell. SOurce is mugglenet here's the link

Any speculation as to who Joeseph and stuart will be playing. I have a feeling Stuart will play maybe Merope or perhaps Greyback.

I think Joseph Fiennes will probably play Tom Riddle,to keep with the story,as he looks an awful like his brother.


And he's so good-looking,which Tom Riddle was described as.
