On my travels around the internet, I found three ways to remove the glitch:
-Use the Jirachi Disk that you received by pre-ordering Pokemon Colloseum
-Load your team in Pokemon Colloseum
-Trade with Fire Red/Leaf Green
The trend here is that any of them would make more money for Nintendo.

Just like they made you have to buy FR/LG/PC to get all the Pokemon

You could get it fixed at participating EB game game stores, I believe.

THANK YOU!!! (100x)
That darn glitch was starting to get on my nerves. I don't think Nintendo is that devious though, maybe Sony or Microsoft, but Nintendo?

Another way to look at it:
Once they discovered the Berry Glitch existed, Nintendo found a way to correct it in every product they've produced since then.
I think the real test to this question would be to find out if the Berry Glitch has been fixed in R/S carts that have been produced since Nintendo found out about it. Did they quickly move to incorporate the fix into new R/S games, or did they continue to sell product they knew to be defective?
I'd be willing to buy a new game to find out, but I don't know of any way to determine the date of manufacture.

hat about the fact that they did time passage perfectly on the G/S/C versions, along with the day of the week and Daylight Savings. And that was a Game Boy Color game. But they have a glitch with a Game Boy Advance game? Sounds a bit fishy.
Oh, and the three ways were found at Gamefaqs.com, in case you were wondering

i think that the reason they have the fixes with the products are so it would be easier than it was for Japan, where you had to send in your cart and they would fix it and send it back...

Dan's right, you've got to hand it to Nintendo to find a clever way of fixing the glitch, and besides, most people would buy those games anyway, glitch or no glitch. I don't think Nintendo had the foresight to know about the glitch before it happened, it does take a year after all for it to happen.

i didn't even know there was a time glitch....
So it keeps your total play time wrong? time of the day? what?
and by the way, in G/S/C i always noticed that the Daylight Savings Time is wrong in mine...when i said it WAS DST it got dark earlier, and when i said it wasnt DST it got dark later.....isn't that backwards or am i missing something?

The glitch has time basically freeze after a year. Berry trees won't grow, the TM guy won't know when 7 days pass, etc.

-Trade with Fire Red/Leaf Green
WRONG. You get the National 'Dex that way. Intructions for removing the glitch with FR/LG are here (http://www.serebii.net/red_green/berry.shtml).

Like I said, the info was secondhand off of Gamefaqs
