i know that you can input codes onto the AR by hand but everyone says that you can do it using the computer, how do you do this?

Create a custom codelist and copy/paste codes you see from the internet into it. Then copy that codelist to the AR. You can also replace the codes for a given game and just drag 'n drop Datel codes into the custom code list. You will need to delete the codes for the given game if they are already on the AR, but it's hardly a great loss.

There's a software app called PokeSave that lets you modify all aspects of the game, and output the mods as a set of AR codes.
You can also, in the custom code section, create your own codes by creating a new code item and double-clicking on it to open it. Type or paste in your new codes and then drag them onto your DS.
A REALLY good idea is to copy the original codes from your DS onto the custom codelist first. Then, as you add in updates to your codelist, you don't erase your old codes. There may be some codes from that old list that you want to keep, and this prevents you from having to type them in by hand to get them back.

Guessing you have to be on the internet on the DS, but my question is this. You have the custom code list on your pc, how do you get them to the DS. USB Cable, or is it like a shared folder type deal?

Quick little walk-thru. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2awrJWfiNks)
Main thing though is to click on AR DS output and save it to the desk top, then drag and drop it into a custom code list on the AR code manager.
