bolzard or bolshak?

in my mind bolzard is better than bolshack beacause of its abillitie to keep your opponent on the same mana but..... in any case bolshak is is good a cheap creature with double breaker though i stil prefer bolzard wat do you guys think?

by the way is the a north and south version of bolshak and bolzard beacause there east and west

Bolzard Dragon is only good for Mana Destruction decks, Bolshack Dragon can fit in most Fire decks, so Bolshack is better IMO.

On a more serious note Bolshack is overated, so I'd go with bolzard or metalwing skyterror

I think Bolshack is better than Urth, just because it has the power attackerish thing, Urth has the lame "running away" untap thing, that lets it get death smoked. Metalwing is only good if they opponent has a blocker, Bolshack is superior when the opponent lacks blockers. I play both, best thing to do is to use Bolshack and the Scarlet Skyterror to remove ALL the blockers. I have yet to see Bolzard used effectively. It tends to get killed by things easily for its cost. When your opponent has 6 mana they summon their double breaker to kill it.

I say Bolzard, but then, I always seem to use him just the right way. He's best comboed by doing something like using Bombersaur turn 5, Bolshack turn 6, then turn 7 use something like Rothus to get rid of Bombersaur, and depending on what color your running, (i run a Water/Fire, so i would use a Spiral Gate or something). Now, of course your not going to have all these cards in your hand at the right time, but doing something somewhere along those lines tends to really just kill your opponents mana, thereby killing their field advantage, and we all know where that leads.

But unless its in a Water/Fire, using water for bounce/blocking, or Nature/Fire, for mana accel/destruction, Bolshack is a better choice.

bolshack = better overall (especially in a red beatdown, which is red's primary use)

bolzard = better in combo/specially themed decks, very powerful when used correctly

Lets compare:

Bolshack:

Increase power each attack by 1000 for every card in graveyard
double breaker

Urth:
Light race
6 mana
6000 atk
double breaker
At the end of each turn u may untap this creature

OK so they're pretty similar except for race and effect. As for race, it doesn't matter much but light would probably be slightly better because fire has no blockers.

As for effects I think all power attacks are overated, but this one has a good power attacker to raise by 1000 for each fire card in the graveyard. This is helped by rothus, triceps, artisans, ucarns, and dead cards. Since u probably will play at least a few of the 4 cards mentioned u'll be slowed down. Besides that his attack can get boosted somewhat high. But on average I usually see a boost of 3000 or 4000.

Urths effect lets it avoid being destroyed by strong monsters, and the whole death smoke thing doesn't mean much since u get to choose wheter or not to untap. Bolshack gets destroyed pretty easily by the stronger monsters, or a gran gure. Besides bolshack is way more overated, and Urth is my favorite card. :)

Bolzard is for specialized decks, urth and bolshack are for any type of their color decks. You cant really compare the uses of each evenly,but if it was me, I rather take bolshack/urth. but if bolzard is used correctly, you have the game won.

i run a mana destruction deck with 4 engeneer keepo 3 bombersaur then i have 4 mana crisis i have a fire nature deck for mana inducing and destruuction so il never be without mana

As 75% people have said I'll go with Bolshack, unless your running mana burn.

However, Metalwing Skyterror is much better and blasts both of 'em away. This is what I like about Duel Masters, it is so balanced people can have a good argument over balanced cards.

I believe bolshack is better, since, as said before, it is more versatile. Bolzard is more specialized, yes it can be better at times, but usually only in mana-disruption decks. Bolshack is generally better.

I would have to say Bolshack Dragon, because 1) Bolzard's effect will barely work unless you got atleast two on the field, 2) Bolshack is a big fattie ,3) I just like to support myself.

As to your first reason Bolshack Dragon....when you have even just one Bolzard, they would have to play a mana EVERY turn just to keep the same amount they would have had if you had no Bolzard...means unless they are running Nature, they will be losing cards, one way or the other. If you have 2 Bolzards down...that is just sick, as they will be down to pretty much nothing in a couple of turns, Nature or not.

Now don't me wrong, Bolshack is better for Fire Beatdown, but Bolzard has his uses in Mana destruction.

i think bolzard is better. what is your opponent going to do if they have no mana? but i like astrocomet better than all of these. and i need a better avatar.
