how does kakashi get his Mangekyo Sharingan

i thought you had to kill your close friend to unlock ability?
itachi killed Shisui Uchiha.
who did kakashi kill ?
and if know one does this not seem like what dbz-dbgt did when the made the black dragon ballz(kami had to cast out his evil half to make dragon balls in db but in gt they said he made some before he cast the evil out.)

you cannot just change the requirements to unlock something. it be like them saying rock lee an now open all gates and not die.

Unless he is the cause of the persons then that's a different story like if naruto was hanging of a cliff and sasuke tried to pull him up but looses his grip and drops him he may get it that way since he caused his friends death. and the dark star dragonballs are like a prototype of the real ones but kami saw knew the dark star balls dangerous .

Kakashi didn't kill anyone. As far as we know, all of his closest people have already died with the exception of his fellow senseis and Team 7/Kakashi.

Uchiha Obito died. That was his best friend. So techniquely his best friend died and he probably talked himself into thinking that he killed his best friend.

A few points that you may want to consider:
1) Its not the act of actually killing your best friend that unlocks the Mangekyo Sharingan but rather the emotions caused from it that unlocks it.
2) Kakashi's Sharingan is not powered by Uchiha blood like it is supposed to be. It may be different for him becasue it might be a different version of Mangekyo Sharingan
3) There could be multiple types of Mangekyo Sharingans. Apparently there are at least two but there could be more. There could be specific requirements for each type of Mangekyo Sharingan

Possibly but I think that his Mangekyo Sharingan was unlocked another way due to multiple reasons such as these:
1) Kakashi's Sharingan is not powered by Uchiha blood like it is supposed to be. It may be different for him becasue it might be a different version of Mangekyo Sharingan
2) Apparently there are at least two versions but there could be more. There could be specific requirements for each type of Mangekyo Sharingan.

He's freakin sweet. Besides if you don't like Yondaime Hokage then you should go dunk your head in a bucket of water three times and pull out twice.

It is a different version. He has different abilities to Itachi.

But we don't know why or how he got it. I am sure we will see more of it soon

LOL! Yondaime is kewl bruh. ANYWAY, yeah, Kakashi felt responsible for Obito's death. He felt that he couldn't protect them, leading to their death.
