Y Wont This Work???

ok im stuck in the game. i have 7 badges and i need to get to sootpolis. i dived down and its all foggy and i cant see where im going. i used flash but then it wont let me. the thing is i already have the badge for it so i dont understand y it wont work. so im just there and nothing else to do. can someone help me?

I don't think you're supposed to use Flash down in that water. The area underwater there is like a big ring, and in the center there's a cavern, and towards the front of it is the enterance. It's supposed to look kinda dark and foggy, with plants everywhere. All you need to do is keep looking around until you see that cavern enterance, and resurface where the sunlit spot is.

HM Flash is for dark caves, not underwater. You'll need it to get Kyogre/Groudon in the cave of Origin a bit later.

The entrance to Sootopolis is hidden under the ocean at the base of the volcano on Rt 126. Surf to the southern side of the volcano and DIVE where the water is deep. You'll be able to get into Sootopolis from a small cavern on the ocean floor. Just re-surface where the sunlight shines on the water.

After you visit the city the first time, you'll be able to fly there.

yes i have dive. but i cant see anythng when i dive. its really frusrating. but i cant use flash in caves or in the smokey gym. so maybe my game is just really messed us. mmm can anyone give me more details on how to get to sootpolis? i know its that island w/ the shallow water around it. but wheres the entrance...i need more details

Actually,when he said "got dive" he really didn't mean it as a question.He always puts "got blank" in his posts,while referring to the topic. ;)
Okay,it's really not that hard.When you're in the underwater ring of seaweed,just keep going around looking until you see an underwater cave-like entrance.Enter it.(if you don't come out of the water,use dive again)About the underwater seeing problem:
What do you mean you can't see! :confused: It's as clear as crystal!I can see just fine.

sounds like something is wrong with the pak, your eyes, or with your gameboy. If you really CAN'T see anything, really not much we can do to help you.

like when i dive down all i see is "fog" u know when u go into a dark cave w/o using flash...like that. thats what i only see. hmm this hella sucks!

um, are you using a Real GBA with the real game? If so, Flash will NOT clear the fog. The Fog is acutally VERY easy to see through. On a VBA or something, you cannot see through the fog. BTW, Flash sux and shouldn't even be used. Also, Flash ONLY works in Dark Caves. Think about it. Flash emits light so you can see, this Light will not dissolve fog.

Flash is a waste of a move space for any pokemon. I have never actually used flash in any of my games. instead I just rely on either feeling the way out through walls and using a map from guides online or whatnot. It's much better that having to catch something you wouldn't usually have on your team only to teach it a pathetic move like flash. If in battle it actually GREATLY lowered the opponents accuracy I wouldn't be so harsh on it but with its own pathetic chance of hitting you would be better off with smokescreen or sand attack. At least they both have 100% accuracy.

I've heard about that blinding fog thing too in some FAQs. Either you're using an emulator or your copy of the game is fake. Too bad.
