How many cards in a Deck?

I just bought a starter and it came with 70 but in the rule book it sasy you need a 60 card draw deck but when i counted there were 40 non energy cards and 20 energy does the 60 card requirment include the 20 card energy deck? pleas someone respond as soon as possiable

If you add in the two boosters that should give you 60. But to answer your question for a legal deck you need 1 guardian card, a side deck of 20 energy, and a main deck of 60 cards.

Theoretically, if you get all main deck cards in your boosters, you can run a legal deck right out of the box.

Often, however, you'll be short two or three cards.
