Trading and Training Questions

After a long break, I finally got back into Pokemon and so far I've got LeafGreen and Diamond. Now, since my mind's not what it used to be, I have a few questions:

- If I trade my more main-stream Pokemon (Dragonite, Mewtwo, Tyrantitar, etc) onto Diamond (once I can), will there be any difference in stats in training them on Diamond compared to LeafGreen (besides the Exp Boost of traded pokemon)?

- Is there any way i can trade online for the sole purpose of getting a Traded evolution (i.e. Haunter to Gengar, Scyther to Scizor, etc) and get that newly evolved Pokemon back to me for my own use?

- Legendaries are fun and all, but is there anyway to battle online with having these Pokemon banned from use?

1) Nope, the Pokemon is EXACTLY the same as it was when you transferred (OT, ID#, held item, EVs, IVs, Nature, Moves, Shiny, Nickname]. But please remember, once it is transferred to DP, IT IS GONE FROM YOUR PREVIOUS CARTRIDGE.

2) Yeah, ME. I've done it a dozen times with "Master Seshomaru", "Doomsday", "Shadowhawk11", "SpringChocobo" and I think a few others. YOU CAN TRUST ME.

3) Not enforced, but it should be understood between you and your friend that wheter UBERS will or will not be allowed.

Again, Yup.
The EV mechanics haven't changed a bit.
But if I were you, I'd hold of EV training until you get to DP, since there are items that add FOUR more Evs to whatever Evs you just received (meaning a Shuppet that ordinarily gave off 2 Evs in ATK with Macho Brace would now give off 5 Evs in ATK with the new equip item...whose name escapes me at the moment).
