CONFIRMED FIGURES
Probably a new Vader or Anakin.
Seeing how this is part of the contract that there MUST be one in every set, id say that is a no-brainer.

Here's hoping for Anakin Skywalker, Quadriplegic Burn Victim ;)
No, seriously, I would like to see some Episode 1 figs, like a young anakin, Jar Jar Binks, and Captain Tarpals. There is also the potential for some great huges in the set as well.
Imagine what a Gungan force shield might do...
(Absorb 100 Pts in shooting damage directed at any target within 6 squares of generator would be a thought...)

I too would like to see less Vaders and More Anakins. We really don't have an anakin that shows his prowess yet. Jedi Knight isnt bad, but for someone that is about to take out the jedi order he should have more.

its almost going to have to be a Vader, Dark Master or something like that seeing as the video game is about vaders apprentice

Since this new game is all about Vader and his apprentice, I figure that there is a slim chance of Anakin.

what huge pieces do you think will be in this set?
I think we might get Bull Rancors a little bigger in size or with a small jedi riding on the shoulder. like in the video game concept art.

A good chunk will be from the video game so i don't know that we can guess at most of them, and i haven't heard anything specific either.

WotC has new preview figure posted...
Kazdan Paratus
Faction: Republic
Cost: 55
Hit Points: 110
Defense: 18
Attack: +12
Damage: 20
Special Abilities: Unique, Melee Attack, Double Attack, Affinity (May be in a Rebel squad), Droid Mark (When this character activates, you may choose an allied Droid character within 6 squares. Until the start of the next round, that character gains Draw Fire [If an enemy targets an ally within 6 squares of this character, you may force that enemy to target this character instead if it can; save 11]), Immediate Droid Reserves 30 (If you roll exactly 5, 10, 15, or 20 for initiative, you can add up to 30 points of non-Unique Droid characters from any faction to your squad, adjacent to this character, immediately before your first activation of the round)
Force Powers: Force 3, Lightsaber Block, Lightsaber Deflect, Surprise Move
His price is high, but I really want to like him. More for Rebels than Republic, though. I can see some value to bringing in some guns... 2 10 15 20 is better odds than any of the other reserve schticks out there, and with the ANY faction clause, I can see the rebels playing with some beefy Dark Troopers somtime soon. Too bad the X-1 is over 30. Not sure that there are many other useful droids to bring in... any thoughts?

you can definately make use of the C.I.S. i would say that the ones i will be making use of are definately the bodyguard droids, maybe 2 dwarf spider droids, a battle droid officer and 5 battle droids(it would boost your activations way up.) making use of the officer might be nice if you are using an x-1 in your originial set up because it will benifit from the commander effect.
i also am looking forward to the dark troopers being able to be added in, to be able to combine those with the sepratist all on one rebel squad is amazing indeed.
a piece that will be handy to have around is going to be admiral ackbar considering he has recon.

I like the spider droid idea... But droid mark with a MK 2 or III... that's alot of hit points to force someone to shoot at. The activation idea is good though, as well.
Ah, the possibilities. Here's a few I thought of:
Destroyer Droid - 30 pts
Dark Trooper II (20) and a BDO (9) - 29
This one is also nice for those hinging their bets on getting more reserves... You could then pull in a Ph III (25) and a BD (4) the next round.
(2) Med Droid (12) and a BD (4) - 30
For late in the game when you NEED to heal
Probe droid is nice to... just not really intuitive to match. MAybe that Bodyguard.. or a med droid and and a probe droid with a BDO and again hope for a second roll.
Now, the question is... how many times can you pull a 1:5 odds?

I wonder what Darth Revan's stats are going to be

Well, we have an 88 point figure coming. Revan is the hands on favorite to be the 88pt fig, so that should tell you something about what kind of piece he is going to be.
