Meditite/Medicham?!

Theyre supposed to learn Ice/thunder fire punches at lv 1 right? So do I have to capture them with those moves or what????

I was never that fond of I/F/T Punch myself. Heart Scales are also the only way for other moves such as Vileplume's Aromatherapy, the Regi's Explosion Rayquaza's Dragon Claw, Latios' Memento and so on. If one is to run low on Heart Scales, one has only to steal them from wild Luvdisc (one of the few uses for it.) simple as that.

The elemental punches are part of Meditite's egg moves so your male parent probably passed them.

You need to use Heart Scales on Medicham, though, not on Meditite.

Or Breed it, i think it can breed with Hitmonchan, who learns them leveling up...Not sure, mite need a longer chain.

Oops. I misread the info I was using. Guess it can't learn them naturally through egg moves, except when bred with a male Medicham whom has aquired the elemental punches through heartscales already. heere's a list of all Medicham's hereditary moves it can learn through breeding:

Baton Pass: Breed a female Spinda with a male Mawile or Girafarig, then breed the resulting male Spinda with Baton Pass to female Meditite/Medicham.

Dynamicpunch: Breed with a male Machop/Machoke/Machamp.

Fake Out: Breed with a male Sableye or Makuhita/Hariyama.

Fire Punch: Breed with a male Medicham.

Foresight: Breed with a male Machop/Machoke/Machamp or Sableye.

Ice Punch: Breed with a male Medicham.

Thunderpunch: Breed with a male Medicham.

Maybe this is just me, but I don't see the point in breeding the elemental punches onto Meditite if your parent is going to be Medicham anyway, who will have needed Heart Scales to learn the punches in the first place. Unless you need them on a low-level Meditite for special battling purposes..

It'd be a different story outside of 200 if you had access to Electabuzz/Magmar/Jynx/Hitmonchan to use as parents.

Oh how I long for Ditto in R/S Since my Swampert is Male, and my friend's Blazikens :D are also male, moves aren't the only annoyance. I heard the chance of a Female starter is 12. something percent :mad: But to stay on topic, does Medicham have very good Spc Attack? I/F/T Punch isn't that strong. But then again they are good moves to have on Medicham, to defend it's weaknesses.

Its base Att. and Sp. Att. are both 60, and while it does learn Calm Mind naturally, its Pure Power ability would make you want to work with Physical attacks instead.
