i'd use magmar for the 6th, mainly cuz he's my favorite kanto fire-type. Also, unless your 6th pokemon has both types of attacks, Mr. Mime doesn't need both meditate and calm mind does he?

For Lapras i'd go 252 Sp Def, 252 Def, 6 HP just because it looks like you are going for more of an annoyer and annoyers need to last

since we have something in common in that we're both looking for a Kanto team, good luck in perfecting it

I think Mr.Mime has both Meditate AND Calm Mind so he can pass to either a Special or Physical pokemon...

I think Nuetral is right. Moreover Calm Mind boosts Sp. Def, too. A physical attacker can still benefit from heightened Sp. Def, even if it doesn't have any Special weaknesses. (And yea, Snorlax has good Sp. Def. to begin with.)

Question: isn't both Return and Body Slam on Tauros redundant? Or is it different because it has Choice Band, or what?

Tauros should have EQ, HP Rock, Return, and Hyper Beam... HB is because there is nothing else and it can be good for a final attack before Tauros dies or you have a chance of winning with a final strong shot...
