Indiana Jones=Dragon Ball?

Who thinks Dragon Ball is quite like Indiana Jones but with dragon balls? Indiana Jones is a few years older then Dragon Ball. Perhaps this series has been inspired by the monkey king legend and indiana jones(the later episodes). The adventures seem kinda simular. Except with Bugs and reptiles, id say its kinda like it. they even go in caves and stuff in indiana jones(reminds me of red ribbon army saga). Anyone else agree?

Never thought of that...it could be. the Dragonball manga was first released in 1985 (the anime was released in '86) and i think Indiana Jones came out in '86.

the first indiana jones came out in 1980. i have the whole dvd collection.

I think I understand where he is coming from. He is comparing the locations and enviroments that we see on Indiana Jones to Dragonball. I can see a very small comparison, with the Desert, Castles, and Caves. They have similar scenes, but there is no way to compare they in storyline, quests, etc.

I would pick Indiana Jones because it's not a cartoon and it's more real. :p

Well, that is hard to judge, seen as they have no comparison and are totally different programs. Out of the two, I would rather watch Dragonball. There have been way to many films based on action and adventure. Anyway, were spinning off the original topic, hopefully, somebody will kick it back on. ;)

We are trying to compare the Locations from Indiana Jones to Dragonball. You will probably see a slight connection if you think deeply about it. Alot of enviroments and places are similar like I stated in my other post. We are not comparing anything but enviroments.

I can kinda see what you're talking about, but they're still not connected considering quite a few locations in Dragonball were fantacy like.

Like I said, we are only comparing the Locations from Dragonball to Indiana, it's quite easy to understand what we are doing. Basically, the point of this topic was to see how Dragonball has enviroments that can relate to Indiana, and what we thought of it. Caves, Forests, Castles, Deserts, everything has a similar scene and adventure, see what I mean? I am quite sure that everybody knows what we are triyng to do here.
